Pedro’s way of learning lines weirdly actually makes a lot of sense to me, I feel like if I were an actor that’d be how I’d be able to remember them too
The scene between Sarah Snook and Matthew MacFadyen on the balcony was reminiscent of Burton and Taylor going hammer and tongs in Who’s afraid of Virginia Wolf.
I just started taking acting classes and I am very glad the moderator asked the "how do you actually learn your lines" question. Feels good knowing even professional, famous actors still forget them sometimes!
I don't think Kieran understood Scott's question. Scott did not ask "why" do you learn your lines, he asked "how" which is a huge difference and will be a much different answer. I am pretty sure ALL actors learn their lines because it's their job. That is a great question that a lot of actors would like to hear. Great interview to all and Scott.
Billy Crudup’s career is such a mystery to me. Incredibly talented, very good looking, and then… crickets FOR YEARS. It has got to be of his own accord bc I just cannot comprehend someone hitting all the checkmarks not being everywhere/huge.
Remembering lines isnt ‘just part of the job’, kieran. It’s really really hard for some ppl. I gave up acting as a teen literally because I had a fear of forgetting lines.
On one hand I can see why some people would be bothered by all the Succession wins due to their unconventional processes. On the other hand, we the audience got to enjoy the results of it. I hope they sweep at SAG!
i love the energy all four of them are sharing with each other! it's so warm and filled with genuine mutual respect! also, Matthew kept referencing the 'something on your shirt' and 'touch your lips' bit till the end of the video! Delightful and hilarious.
Congrats to pedro pascal for landing the role of reed richards in the upcoming fantastic four movie! Now he is in all major franchises, DC, star wars, and now marvel
