@@wildcatz2089 its actually mostly not him under the armor - that's usually john wayne's grandson or something like that who's actually moving. he only reads the lines for the most part
Wow good for Pedro, he’s really earned a place in Star Wars fandom. It’s hard to go anywhere now a-days and not see either mando or grogu merch. I’m glad to see Star Wars get back up on its feet with the great shows like mandolorian and obi wan.
@@elck3 kenobi ..maybe not so much ..we shall see where it goes but so far the jury is out and it definitely had a few big red flags in the first 2 episodes
Mann went from not wanting to wear a helmet to fight a giant human named The Mountain, To never wanting to take it off unless a cute baby is leaving his side
the way he’s so loved by the fandom and his face is covered 99% of the time he’s in the show. amazing actor. amazing guy. amazing addition to star wars. he was perfect for the role
this tells me he will be doing this role for quite a while now. He seems genuine about his love for all characters involved with the show. And I'm glad.
@@LetsGetitBoah because you obviously were at the board meeting held to discuss what was going to happen. You have like 25% of the story so just chill on the whiteknighting ok? We have no idea if he tried to help or not, what was said to the actors, how it went down, etc. We have only one side of a multi-faceted story.
I honestly did not expect him to show up because he wasn't announced and The Last of Us is still filming until sometime in June. I'm so glad he was able to make it there and be a part of it, especially since there hasn't been a Star Wars Celebration in 3 years.
This man is so adorably handsome I can't imagine anyone else as the mandalorian. I became such a fangirl for him anytime I see him in another film I smile and scream "Pedro!". Thank you Oscar Isaac for persuading Pedro to take this role !
I didn't think anyone could be so sexy and sensitive and still be masculine in an armored suit until I watched The Mandilorian, Pedro Pascal nailed the character perfectly
Pedro is a Chilean national treassure ♡ really proud of him, he has the chance that so many talented actor/actress in our country don't and he is doing great! Te queremos Pedrito♡
When he said "I'm Yours" to the fans... BEAUTIFUL. He gets it. Gratitude is a gorgeous thing. And all of this...after all...is FOR THE FANS. Happy to see Disney & the new CEO FINALLY putting this beautiful Universe into the hands of those whom UNDERSTAND the MAGIC of what Star Wars is and whom actually understand and care about...THE FANS! So thankful for where STAR WARS is heading right now!!!
I sincerely hope Disney keeps J.J. Abrams far, far away from Star Wars. That man single-handedly destroyed two IPs I love: Star Wars and Star Trek. Fortunately, Strange New Worlds brought it back to life as The Mandalorian did for Star Wars. 🙂
Except of some Fandom Menacers who constantly nitpick about everything he has ever posted on social media and make up some nonsense about him not wanting to wear the helmet.
@@Lightguardian_HOH Noone should get fired because of some tweets. BTW how are the Fandom Menacers who are trying to cancel Pedro any better than the Twittards who cancelled Gina? They are doing exactly the same thing to him. If they didn ´t have double standards they would have no standards at all, 100% like the people they criticize. They are opposite sides of the same coin.
@@mousemetal1679 Let's not talk about them or even acknowledge them. I don't always agree with his tweets, but I don't hold it against him. I love this man! Let's concentrate on all the great Star Wars content coming out for some years, and according to an online media article, Jon Favreau is currently writing Mando Season 4!
@@sirmustardofhousemayonnais9907 Obviously that’s the case for some more than others. 😑 Irregardless, he’s already an icon in this franchise (few detractors be damned).
@@--SHEPHERD-OF-MOTHER-EARTH-- There was the 1st trailer they showed, Mando & Bo Katan, & Mando & the Armorer with Grogu that leaked out & was taken down. That's the one I saw.
“That’s little and that’s me - that’s mine” and the baby dressed as Grogu are my fav parts in this video! And of course all the love Pedro gets and his interactions with the fans ❤
I love that the most Pedro thing about this is that he stole the little lego figure of himself and let the other dude get into trouble for it before they went after him.
Ngl, at first the fandom blew my mind by all the positive reception. it's honestly not common for the fandom to love an actor in star wars this quickly . But then you see Pedro is such a nice and charismatic guy and it all makes sense. I'm so glad he's getting all the love because he deserves every bit of it and more... Every actor in this franchise deserves it, honestly.
Casting was insanely genius. Firstly, the voice. And then how both Din and Pedro can be/play the hard exterior roles but are also just goofball softies inside. Both are intelligent and empathetic. Pedro deserves it all!
Anthony Carboni has really become the best Live host. From the awkward days on the Star Wars Show to red carpet events and Celebration, he's really gotten seemingly comfortable. Good work!
The look of guilt on Pedro’s face had my cracking up! Seeing Pedro loved by so much because of how great of an actor he’s been, and just in general how much of a great guy he is, is just heartwarming!
It's irritating that they (and most other people in the crowd) all want the attention to be on them instead. The keep interrupting the cast with their constant cheering and constantly trying to make the biggest scene for the camera.
I remember when my 50+ year old dad first made a Mando reference in public. This twenty-something years out turned and looked at him and like "Dude, you know about Mando?" To which Dad replied, "Yeah, I know about beskar and all that. I'm a Star Wars fan too; This is the Way." The young man was like "Wow, your dad is hip!" XD Apparently, my dad, who has been a Star Wars fan ever since the very first film came out, is "too old" to be into pop culture.
If I had been there with all of y'all who were there that day, I would've made my little voice sound like 1000 people. I cannot begin to express what The Mandalorian has meant to me, and Pedro Pascal portrays his beautiful character evolution so perfectly. All of you who held up la bandera Chilena (the Chilean flag), Grogu plushes, Mandalorian helmets and lightsabers, I salute you.
Being such a huge and likable figure in both fandoms of _Game of Thrones_ and _Star Wars_ is truly something special. Also how poetic is it that in the former he's known as the guy who should have worn a helmet while in the latter he's the guy who almost never takes off his helmet?
I think Rogue One established the story-telling template that The Mandalorian took and ran with. Rogue One told a solid, moving, character-deep story, something we hadn't seen since The Empire Strikes Back.
For me The Clone Wars is the best Star Wars content, for many others it's The Mandalorian. But no one can deny what The Mandalorian has done for Star Wars. The Mando is ALL over the place, everyone loves it, Star Wars became popular again, many non Star Wars fans became fans because of The Mando, and i am eternally greatful for it. Everyone deserves the magic of Star Wars in their lives. There are still SO SO MANY Star Wars stories out there, and shows like The Mando make those stories possible to be told.
I also love that The Mandalorian created the template for the Star Wars series to come. I think Rogue One started the template, but The Mandalorian blew it up.
I’m one of those people. Never watched a single Star Wars movie in my life, somehow happened upon Mando and I’m obsessed with it. Even got me to watch The book of Boba and now currently Obi Wan
@@rafaelroriz6622 😂 hey, I know that maybe some Boba fans were disappointed, but at least it gave us some nice information. But yeah… it definitely wasn’t my favorite. I liked him better when he was on The Mandalorian
Because of the time it came out, The Mandalorian really felt like something everyone watched together. I think that’s why it became such a fan favourite so fast.
Oh agreed, completely. It was definitely the kicking off point for the new Star Wars universe, and all of us fans were literally dying for some new live action content, especially after the rise of Skywalker :/
The Mandalorian reignited my passion for Star Wars and I am eternally grateful to Pedro Pascal for reawakening my love for the lore of Star Wars history and giving me a whole new perspective and people to adore and praise in the Star Wars canon! Dare I say I have become a convert to loving the Mandalorians more than I did any Jedi!
I am so touched and excited by how much LOVE he shares with every word when talking about the Star Wars Universe. Sharing all the sentiments so far - Pedro deserves this. He feels the love and that only inspires more. He is a fan and giving it 100%
It's true, I completey forgot ! The last Star Wars convention was in 2019. the show hasn't even started yet, by then ! Now that it's back, it's insane to see that (other than Ewan and Hayden) he's the one gathering the biggest and most passionate crowd ! It must have felt so surreal to him ! So happy he can finally see the love firsthand ! Hope that's gonna help him wish to really commit to this series !
I wonder what would have happened if the saga actors showed up? I wonder if the kids who watched TFA, TLJ, and TRIS will be like today's prequel fans in twenty years. Personally, I'm old-school Star Wars. My jam is the original trilogy. I never liked the prequel. But I do appreciate the actors coming back to reprise their roles, and knowing they're in the hands of better writers and directors is good in my book. George Lucas is a fantastic visionary (Star Wars, THX-1138) and idea man (Willow, Indiana Jones) but a terrible screenwriter and director.
Awwww this was so wholesome! He's such a sweetheart and I'm so happy for him that he gets to experience such an amazing reaction from fans. He's become one of the most iconic characters in Star Wars in such a short period of time and he's so good natured about it.
