Either way Brother if you ever read this know that you can get your masters degree and hearing you say you want that is the best part of this interview to me I was never in a gang but I was a terrible student in high school and college and I still managed to get my Masters degree you can do it! Just make sure while your going through the college process you choose a major that will give you a school that can make you a good income, finance, business, any of the engineering majors, any of the sciences and nursing choose from those because those majors will give you the best chance to find employment and remember internships and to start looking for work in your field and talking to people who are working in your field while your in school. Also remember to apply for scholarships and free grants as much as you can everywhere so you can pay off school, there's a whole lot of free money out there you can get scholarships from being part of a church you can get scholarships just for being a minority. I hope you read this don't make the mistakes I did and not know what to do and find out later on down the road you can do it brother.
