Hello Rick! Those swans were beautiful. Judy Garland was originally buried in N. Y. but was moved to Hollywood Forever so there would be more room for the rest of the family to be together down the line. Loving these types of videos for you. Great job, Rick! Funny, I've heard so many people say "I've never been to Hollywood Forever before." Same here. I've lived in L.A. my entire life, I've probably passed the cemetery thousands of times on my way to TV studios and events in Hollywood, but I've never been inside. I'll have to check it out now. Like people say, as long as we're still above the grass it's a good day.

Saying “my bucket list” in a cemetery. Something surreal about that. lol. As always, great tribute video, not just to Paul Ruebens but to all the celebrities you “encountered” along the way. And that cameo of the sun visored person in the view of your rear window at the beginning of the video really started things off! Get some info on that person, could be someone with classic tv connections or maybe a celebrity in their own right! 😲

Oh man. Yes he died in 2023 but his grave location was kept under wraps until about a week ago. I spent almost a year trying to see where he was so this video was almost a year in the making

I'm going to LA for 5 days in October. and staying within walking distance of this cemetery. I saw PW's Big Holiday for the first time a couple months ago. Really liked it. Had a nice vibe similar to the Barbie movie which I saw just prior to his. Think I can deduce where he is in relation to the pond and big mausoleum on the other side. Would be very helpful in the future to use the 3 words app and give us the coordinates to other locations.

Loved your video. We spent an entire afternoon at Hollywood forever in January and are going back for a visit this week to LA and will again go to Hollywood forever to pay our respects to Paul Reubens now. It's a phenomenal place isn't it?

Thanks for your kind words! I’m so glad you liked the video. I started watching I love Lucy by myself at age 3. I started to like and watch all the guest stars from her show and see who they were: John Wayne, Harpo Marx etc and I began to love the classics. The rest is history

I first saw Paul on the Gong Show in the '70s. That's nearly 50 years of watching him. It makes it harder to believe he's gone. RIP Paul and Pee Wee.

I saw it last week on one of the Hollywood tourist channels..it wasn't really big or standoutage as I would expect. They had a little plaque with his name and a bowtie. Kind of sad to me

Visited yesterday. After going through the Santa Monica Blvd. entrance, parked about 300 feet straight ahead. Instantly came upon Mel Blanc's headstone. Sauntered a little and saw Mickey Rooney, Ann Heche. Went over to the back end of the pond. Burt Reynold's is hard to miss and Paul's is a very nearby. Quick visit, had to get to LAX.

Oops. Forgot to mention that I met Paul Ruebens about 8 years ago when he appeared at an Autograph Convention in Burbank. I found him to be really friend and kind, and we had a really good conversation. I will always remember that. I'm so glad he is resting in the same cemetery as John Paragon. It's only right.

I think the reason Paul was able to come back from his "scandal" was because he was just watching a "movie" and not involved in sa or ped. He was able to keep his Pee-Wee character separate from his private life.

I believe that Paul Reubens got a bad rap based on what he did and because he was at the time a child icon even though the character Pee-Wee was created as an adult comedy feature.

As we have sadly seen throughout our lives, someone can be beloved & adored, but also devoured by fame & celebrity & it's pressures. It takes the right kind of parents, mentors, & managers to protect & raise "Child" actors. Judy Garland was one such victim of fame & avarice by those around her. Passed way too young for all the wrong reasons.

He was a Great actor and he didn't do anything wrong, people just need to stop being so judgmental and acting like they are perfect. That was not a regular movie theater it was an adult movie theater so I mean as if he was the only person to ever do that there, get real.
