Hey you sound amazing! Just some helpful tips: it seems that the samson mic is being overloaded a bit so maybe try reducing the input or putting the mic farther away. For a good distance and example try watching Reggie Padillas videos of him playing on his. Its crazy what he does with the mic and just an ipad!
Thanks Bebop (also for the recommendations). This recording has for sure some clipping issues, but I think my (old) mic is not working that well anymore (and I had a bad old reed at this recording, which also makes the sound less clear). I've also seen that my recordings are less clear since I bought a new laptop (more disturbance). I don't think it's due to the distance or way I do record, my older recordings do sound better from a sound perspective.
