I would recommend a wallpaper smoothing tool! It's much easier to smooth down wallpaper with a flat straight tool than your hands. There is one on Amazon on sale right now for 3 bucks! There is also a whole wallpaper kit with an exacto knife for 6! :) Wallpaper is gorgeous!
Also a laser level (modern, high tech) or a plumb bob (old fashioned, low tech). There are so many RU-vid home decor channels that have episodes on how to hang peel and stick wallpaper/murals!
I love the wallpaper, really fits your vibe! However, I don't personally do wallpaper. Ever see the episode of I Love Lucy where Lucy & Ethel wallpaper the bedroom? Yeah, not me, not happening! Shame, cause it looks really good here!
My applause for stick wallpaper, a true transformer for awakening to a "living" room. Very energizing, very beautiful. I would hire an experienced person to do my walls. I live alone, don't want to purchase the necessary tools, i can't measure. A learning curve is ordering the paper which surely will be a surprise on arrival in texture and print, nothing like the catalogues. It's my favorite transformer, still scared to order. This looks amazing! I've never liked wallpaper just because I've never seen a pattern that suits me. This is very elegant and I'm a huge fan of black and white! Don't think I'm ready to try it for myself yet, but it's a potential option in the future
Use credit cards to smooth out air bubbles as your go. Remove the socket covers & screws, then paper over the plate, use Exacto knife. The wall is stunning! Congratulations!
Wow! That wallpaper looks amazing! What I really appreciate during this process is that you showed how much work it is and how easy it would be to mess it up if you aren't careful. I've watched other videos where people have made peel-and-stick wallpaper look "so easy" that I simply didn't believe them. Now I am going back to watch your other videos because I trust you to tell the truth. Great video!
Nice job, kids! It looks amazing. You guys are pros now. You also escaped some of the pitfalls often come up.| I love love love peel and stick wallpaper. I've done my kitchen backsplash 3 times and I've also done the bathroom vanity. I, too, was amazed at how much longer it took than I thought. The final result is always worth it though, I think. The only thing that saves the day is the it's re-positionable. A tip for dealing with bubbles (ignore me if someone else has passed this on) is to use a pin to poke a hole in them and they'll flatten out. TIPS: for anyone out there who's thinking of doing this, It's safer to not trim anything until you get it on the wall, just in case your measurements are a little off, or your walls aren't straight. Just trim it off at the bottom (or the edge of the wall) after it's all stuck in place. It's also sometimes safer to not start at the far edge of the wall, again since walls are often not straight. Draw a vertical line somewhere over from the edge that you know for sure is straight and line your first piece up with that. Then the other pieces are pretty much guaranteed to be straight. You may have to extend the pieces a little above the top of the wall to be sure they'll hang straight.
I have never seen hanglng wallpaper look so hard! ROFL. I was really hoping your wall was square because I didn't see you measure or use a plumb line but it looks amazing. I need this wallpaper in my life! I love your taste and your bf was a good sport. Great job!
wow that looks AMAZING!! So does your black accent wall. What a difference a statement wall makes. I've never tried peel and stick wallpaper, it looks sooooo hard.
Love this. I have those black n white pillow covers and a green chair about that color in my livingroom. I've been at a dead end with what curtians to get so I may do some floral ones like your wall paper.

Love this design! I recently wallpapered my walls in my room and when it go to the sockets, I found it easiest to just leave them on, roll the wallpaper on top of it, and slice around the socket cover. It made the process so much easier.

AHHHH it came out so lovely!! I've had thoughts of trying a simple wallpaper in my tiny space, but I don't know if I can handle the stress lol! I do totally see where you are coming from in saying try something BOLD. I still struggle a little with deciding what artwork I want on my walls and just see these blank slabs of BLAH in my place, but I can see how some wallpaper can be a bit of a "cheat" 😁 but definitely will make a statement!
Absolutely exquisite Steffi x I would have loved to have known if the panels were numbered by the supplier so that you knew the order to hang them OR if the item came in one giant roll piece and you had to cut it into panels yourself?? I'm kind of having second thoughts about trying to do this on my own... N

You DON'T want it too stretch, if you do it will Not align, its NOT meant to be applied with your SWEATY hand. NO wall is square. You are giving the WRONG advice, do your research. .....
evidently you have never done this before you do not even have the proper tools to remove the air bubbles. what a waste of time this video is., especially all your complaining
