We do not sell TCA 80. That is way too strong. That high strength is terrifying and will damage your skin by either scarring, causing hyper or hypO pigmenting that is permanent. Please DO NOT use them! TCA 30% is the strongest we manufacture and even that is very serious acid. We suggest it ONLY for scar treatment, dilution or body usage. With ethnic skin types even that is too strong. We suggest the 20% instead and definitely a pre-treatment is required with a melanin inhibitor for 2-3 weeks... or longer before usage to help prevent PIH*. *Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation. When the skin is inflamed (like after a pimple or bug bite) it will become a darker color. That is PIH. This will generally stay around for several weeks or months. It can be faded by using a melanin inhibitor and by avoiding the sun. When applying an acid like this question pertains to... the PIH can be so dark and the damage so deep that it is permanent. Scarring can also occur. Again... do not use them.

That is a VERY strong peel. We hope that you worked up to that after many many milder tca peels with several layers? It may be helpful... especially if you have a more olive complexion and you run a higher risk of getting PIH from this strong acid. PREP is the best help though. You want to PREP with that cream for 3-5 weeks prior to your peel next time instead of 1 or 2x after.

@@PlatinumSkinCare I just ordered it from your site. What strength of Retinoid do you recommend? I just got an Rx from my doc for Tretinoin O.1%. Seems low to me. He said we can increase the strength if I’d like.

@@julietteyork6293 tretinoin 0.1% is very strong. It’s one of the strongest concentrations that you can get. That prescription is a lot better than an over the counter retinol.

We recommend a series of 6-8 peels. Consistency is key with chemical peels.

Well ... darnit! Retinoids are super helpful, so Fusion A .15 to start. Do 3 nights a week and then add on extra days as your skin acclimates. *Neck is always drier so that may take longer. Then ... peels are really helpful. TCA 13 at 1 or 2 layers. .. If peels are a bit "scary" for you... milder Mandelic 40 is a GREAT place to start. Generally if these areas are darker it happens with ethnic toned skin types. We usually suggest a milder treatment. Fade Bright daily (melanin inhibitor) to help fade and turn down the melanin production. The 25% Triple Treat body lotion 3-5x per week is a great option... and ... then possibly a Lactic peel 1-2x per month.

Yes, you certainly can.

We sell a Lactic 50, not a Lactic 60. Not sure what pH that product has, it should be ok. But I would check with the manufacturer.
