Not surprised that Gloco-san is well versed on japanese yokais. Very sugoi. Would have been terrfying if the game replaced it with teke-teke instead of hachishaku-sama.

Okay, so, in this game, Hachishaku-sama was split into three characters. Hiachi (you'll know her full story on Chapter 3 btw), Shaku (Hiachi's doll) and Sama, who's other names are Saigomo and Kintoru. Sama was the main antagonist of The Mimic book 1. I think the lore was more shown in The Witch Trials rather than the main Mimic story.

Didn't you guys played Chapter 1 already? Try Chapters 2, 3, and 4. These chapters will be hard when you progress the game. Btw the game itself has a storyline.
