The name PEER KI gali has some auspicious relevance as the word peer means a person devoted to religion as per Muslim faith got its name because sheikh Ahmed karim baba. Mughal used to come through this way to thier summer capital kashmir. In the middle road you can come across the great Mughal architecture namely Mughal sarai which used to be transit camp Mughal.
