@@goldendust2540 But her parents came long back from Pakistan before July 14th. Things got worse from 15th July. They could have met her parents first and then gone to Barishal. Also, not even a single family member came to meet her parents and that’s not in our culture. This is not normal and that’s why everyone is asking this question. It seems very strange and weird to me. Honestly speaking I have never seen or come across anyone in my life till now that doesn’t meet girls family when they come from a different country especially they came from Pakistan. This will give a wrong impression to other Pakistanis about Bangladeshi culture.

If I’m ere to bring my in laws to my parents home my parents would make sure they are there to at least receive or come and welcome them. This looks disrespectful. Sadias parents are at emons parents home but his parents aren’t there. Not even a phone call they are that busy.

So, Sadia’s parents can spend some time there. There are things that Imon’s family does that are not typical Bangladeshi family thing. What can we do. Every family is different.
