The beautiful thing about the game's difficulty, is that it makes you feel like a god anytime you overcome it. I'm not sure if any game has given me as much euphoria as Dark Souls.

The difficulty is overstated. It's challenging, but not that hard. Most of what people attribute to difficulty is really just the game heavily punishing mistakes.

Dark Souls isn't all that difficult. Not easy, don't get me wrong. But not as hard as people make it out to be. It can be fun to play once you get over the weird control scheme. But there are reasons to stay far away. Non-existent story, obtuse unexplained game mechanics, and zero explanation of what you are supposed to do or why.

You know, I was gonna get in the right headspace to have fun seeing someone fail (usually I'm too bothered by it since I want to see people succeed) but then I saw Pekora kill Oscar right off the bat. I know this is her shtick and all... But you just don't do some things. Now, no matter how bad of a time she has, I won't feel bad.
