well once upon a time many fans wondered if a female majin design could work given the whole Genie like motif...and the short answer was upon seeing 21 was...yes yes it REALLY did work

​@@Avalon64 Female Majins were a thing before 21, starting from Dragon Ball Online and then in Xenoverse as player created characters. Android 21 is just the first official female Majin that isn't a custom character.

@@MegamanZXOmega yeah I am aware of Xenoverse, but as far as Xenoverse was I am sure there are many who would rate that under the realm of "fanfiction" character even if the game allowed you to make one, many are still not gonna count it or acknowledge that's what a female Majin should look like, sure I can acknowledge maybe it helped shaped the idea in the people who played that game (admittedly I was not one person who played it) at the very least, now 21 however is a VERY much a different case being an as you put it, an official character

That was before Labcoat 21 dropped and while I have long since moved on from FighterZ, I’ve heard horror stories of her and her being outright banned for a while.

@@Avalon64 Interesting theory, except for the fact that Toriyama-sensei himself said that the Xenoverse series is in fact canon to the Dragon Ball lore, and by extension Dragon Ball Online too as it's based on it, and thus the base female Majin designs featured in said games are official representation of how the race would look. As while 21 in her Majin state is nice looking, let's be real, she's just painted pink, with pointy ears from Piccolo's cells and a tail from Freeza's cells, it's mainly the clothes and eyes that give the real impression of her being a synthetic Majin.

21 is a FighterZ original, But in the recent Dragon Ball movie they featured her which she was originally just human.

...Kinda feel like you just haven't been looking hard enough. There's a LOT of art of her human form. There may be more art of her true form, but there is certainly no shortage of material on her human form. People LOVE her human design. Red headed scientist in glasses and a labcoat? well considering she is watching the japanese dub with japanese subtitles... odds are its said in the JP version and changed in the english version.

no that was added some time later when Toriyama could actually plan out the whole family dynamic in more detail...the game heavily hints (and later its confirmed) that she was gonna be Gero's wife and the mother to the guy who looks like 16 (I forgot what they actually named him lol) so the only thing we knew was she remembered being a wife and a mother but not much else and so they got away with the lack of a name by having good 21 keep claiming she has amnesia from her human life so she can't tell you (Goku) anything about herself since she doesn't remember

No, but Pekora played Kakarot first, where she first saw Vomi as an unknown scientist, and some weeks later she watched the super hero movie where she noticed the name Vomi.

Vomi was Dr. Gero's wife and the template for Android 21, as well as the mother of Gevo, who Android 16 was modeled after.

Android 21's lore was her being modeled after Gero's late wife, Toriyama later reused the idea in DBS SH and gave her a name. Pekora keeps calling her that is because she watch the movie first before playing the game.
