@EETV ya never know what marine has up her sleeve. I wouldn't put it past marine to act derpy and call them both and then make up some excuse to leave them together. And then observe the two.

@bokudensuduharagmail I think she just likes the idea of being a shark more than an actual mythical being. Most of the JP streamers are just regular animal people like dogs and foxes so it's probably just what she's used to the idea of.

@@Farmer_from_Hjaalmarch I'm not sure about that... Kiara is extremely fluent since her debut. Coco had a really bad time with JP for a while, she's even admitted that her beginning was... not good/very bad since she had to skip many JP chats. I think she got lessons through Holo/Cover - that would make sense because she talked about her singing and dancing lessons lately. I'm not playing favorites, I love Coco. I just think that Kiara is or will be the strongest bridge, especially for Holo EN.

Gura doesn't know nearly as much Japanese as one might assume from her singing, she's just very good at pronunciation. I think Kiara confirmed this at some point.

@@Morrigi192 Confirmed even further in a recent collab stream of Gura and Amelia. In a Japanese only challenge they did randomly in a timed puzzle segment of the game both of them were clearly struggling. The order roughly of Japanese fluency is probably Kiara>Mori>Ina>Amelia=Gura

Kiara's really the only one of them who is fluent. Calli's coming along pretty well, but Ame's still very early on. I'm not as sure about Gura, but she seems to be around Ame's level.

@@niccologomez5199 yeah, your order sounds about right, although I feel like Gura is maybe slightly higher than Ame, and Cali and Ina are pretty close but have different strong sides (like Ina seems to have better pronunciation and general feel for grammar, while Cali has bigger vocabulary)

Kiara has said that she will not be doing live translation a few times on stream, she said in her last stream(mc) that she might try to do the basics every once in a while to keep everyone mostly in the loop but that it would be way too awkward to translate someone else then speak in japanese and then translate herself any time they want to talk, makes sense too because its basically making a conversation 2x as long

Gura said they want to visit HoloJP server, they won't join it permanently as they are too many. Also, HoloEN members would (likely) have quite severe ping issues on HoloJP server. Only reason HololiveID plays on the JP server is because a HoloID server would be too empty and boring with their only being 3 ID members.
