Post-note re: 4pc Wind set! Probably would recommend it more IF you have a good efficient reason to farm its cavern and are preferably using Tutorial LC for a 2-turn rotation. Just consistently Ult right after her turn as I showed to maximize the advance.
Hello . There ... I'm going to pull for Jingliu when she comes ... so I will be farming the ice set and get the wind set ... so may be that's a win win !! Then again.. is pela a necessary support for Jingliu... I'm currently building tinghyun... Building so many units is so so frustrating as the resin is limited .. please advice 😮😮😮😮
Here the BS in the game. Her best 4 star light cone is no longer obtainable and cannot be superimposed. Since I was playing during the event for the light cone, I now have a character with no good FUCKing light CONES
@@reubenprasanth271well.. Only Tingyun needs some ATK, so Pela with event LC, and HP/SPD/DEF/ERR relics and Asta with maybe some break and HP/SPD/DEF relics are actually quite a lot tankier, than DD characters.
Pela is a gem, i'm so happy that i build her before. When i need ice character to remove the res bar, she's also the best not only the def debuff but ice break. I love pela, thanks for this video Sevy!! ❤
As a Russian I'm happy to hear your pronunciation of Pelageya Sergeevna, it's pretty close! The stress in Pelageya would be only on "ge" and there would be none on "Pe" (that's a very English thing, Russian doesn't usually have double stress in words but after speaking English for a long time I myself add them in sometimes, so, no big deal) but otherwise it was great!
Fun fact: there's a singer in Russia, whose name (and band's name) is Pelageya, and apparently, her patronym is also Sergeyevna. If you want, I highly recommend a song "fioletovye sny" (фиолетовые сны, "purple/violet dreams"). I guess, the Star Rail version might be named after her :)
And there's me, who only has March, Gepard and Pela and keeps getting ice damage spheres haha Although now not so many, but I legit was thinking of building DPS versions of March and Pela
The national of hsr Pela, asta, tingyun Everyone need to maximize them To progres on end game content Pull on every banner they're appear Absolute rock units
Best overall units in the game. I'd say similar to them but at a much smaller degree is Fire Mc and Yukong. Fire MC can carry you along side a healer for all content and Yukongs crit buffs are useful if you don't have alot of crit rate.
@@Helperishere Is pela REALLY that good? And does Asta REALLY get that good?? Honest questions. I like asta, just got pela, but I like aoe characters very muchs
Pela is an absolute joy to have around, and I've been doing my best to make sure she has a nice set of relics going forward when I get her more eidolons to make her deal some sizable damage ontop of her debuff contributions. I really hope we get another light cone in the future that allows us to maintain the 2 turn ultimate with higher scaling or additional benefits (ie. Crit rate or damage, an additional debuff effect, etc.)
I love her. She's rlly rlly flexible as a unit. She's a character I've been using since the very beginning I got her. I've been using her with Yanqing, and eventually, when I got Kafka, she still found a way to be part of that team. Her Def shred is just super reliable
I'm glad you mentioned her auto-play problems. She loves to use her skill, even when it's basically a waste of a SP. In your future guides, I think it's a good idea to mention auto-play tendencies. It's a nice thing to know. Great job!
Thanks, Sevy. This guide helped me bring my Pela to where she needed to be. I was confused why she was underperforming while following .gg suggestions, but your explanation really helped me figure out where my setup was lacking. Pretty much changed out her entire Relic set, and her survivability is now much better for my team comps.
Finally! Most (albeit scarce in number) Pela guides I’ve seen (web guides and videos etc) held very different build recommendations across the board. Was confused about how to build her for months, so this guide really helps! ❤
seriously. Ive seen guides saying to build her as a heavy tank. Another guide saying to use her with 4piece messenger and loads of EHR and speed to auto attack and team buff. All the 3+ month old guides saying to absolutely not put any attack on her at all despite her entire kit being dps focused. At least this guide says subdps is a viable option. When youre fighting swarm 5 bosses who have like a billion HP, you need every extra drop of dmg you can get.
After getting Jingliu this week I went and finally finished leveling and building my Pela and I love them together! She feels really awesome as a support for her and im excited to build her better now too after watching your guide.
I’m ashamed to admit that I only recently maxed out my energy recharge ropes on my support characters (iM TB 67) and it makes a huge difference in how often they get their ultimates up
At least you’re pulling ER ropes lol. TB 60 and I have only gotten one absolutely terrible ER rope that literally fits zero characters currently on the roster. It had def, eff res, and atk on the Sprightly Vonwacq set.
@@alexone7519 I’ve done a lot of farming too. Been using most of my resources on relics and ornaments. Got some great relics, consistently terrible ornaments though
Omg thank you for adding an Auto Play section. Definitely has been an undercooked area for character guides/builds. Really also highlights that the AI needs work for debuffets.
I hadn't built Pela despite having her E5 because I have too many characters to build and I gave others priority. But after getting Dan Heng, with most of my supports being SP sinkholes and hearing she was a perfect teammate, it was time. Now that she's mostly done except for leveling up a couple of artifacts, I'm BLOWN AWAY with how good and smooth to play she is. I went for a comfy HP build instead of offensive since I'm a traumatized Tingyun user. I should've built her sooner, I'm super happy with my Pelageya now. I have to try her with Yanqing after watching your video
Sameee, she's such a good support for Dan Heng IL. My hypercarry team for him is literally Pela, Tingyun and Luocha. They all save so many skill points and they buff him so much. I plan to build them better as soon as I'm done maxing out my Dan Heng IL and Blade, along with Yukong. I'm also going to go for an HP build on Pela but I want to give Tingyun and Yukong as much atk as possible for their skill.
@@caparashon it's literally such a good team for Dan Heng IL dude, other characters also benefit from it but for someone as SP-hungry as Dan Heng it's basically his best team. Luocha is such a good healer that I don't regret getting him despite the fact that I struggled with getting Blade because of it.
Much appreciate the updated guide I haven’t started yet but Pela is definitely going to be my main and favorite character as Genshin player it also helps that she’s Sucrose/Shenhe hybrid girl which also characters I enjoy using, story wise she still not that relevant but hopefully it will change with future updates.
I've been using Pela since day 1 and I saw she was the only one with AoE DEF shred. She's got great break efficiency and a the remove buff as well. She's also super SP efficient She keeps getting more valuable to my teams and I see myself using her for a long time until a 5* Nihility can prove themselves better at E0
Great timing, my 13th Pela just came home, and this video popped up to answer literally everything I was wondering 😆 and more (autoplay moment 12:48 😂)
Thank you a lot for analyzing AI auto-battle issue with Pela! Yes, AI always aims to generate energy, and it seems to be the same with all other units: AI uses Tinyun's skill on herself to launc the ult in order to battery Seele, and so on.
Yes! I'm not crazy for putting a 4pc Eagle of Twilight Line set on my Pela 😂 Also, I really like the addition of the Auto battle guide on characters since I mainly use it when grinding SU
Pela's the queen of low-investment support chars. You can ignore all of her damage traces and slap on some random defensive relics; as long as you have the speed and ERR she's fully functional!
she has become one of my favorite nihility characters (well, i love all of them and im a nihility collector). like, she SHREDS the enemy allowing me to DESTROY the enemy hehehehehehe thank you so much for this, sevy!
The resolution shines as pearls of sweat for me is her BiS. It helps so much especially since she is teamed up with my Dan Heng IL so all she has to do is do basic attack 2-3 times then Ult and she applies def debuff in all of those attacks. 💪👍
I recently just finished building her mainly so I can deal with those annoying mara-struck enemies. She is so amazing of her as an SP battery, her ult is always up and her def shred and support capabilities. Very worth it to use.
I've used her a lot, she's a great support for so many teams. I have SW, Ting, Yukong and Bronya, but Pela still ends up on my teams most of the time. Her AOE def shred is just great. Handy against those darn mara soldiers too lol. And now that she can, at least manually, be played super skill point efficient, she keeps getting better.
She was the first four star I pulled and I immediately loved her. She ended up getting left behind as I built up other characters. Thankfully I decided to circle back and build her recently and I am so glad I did. She is on pretty much every non-MOC core team now and just has so much utility.
The auto=play segment is a very nice humorous touch since there are a lot of characters that don't behave the way we expect them to but that's part of the AI learning process.
Only started using Pela recently because I wanted to see how hard Sampo can weakness break enemies when given support, and holy shit, she's now permanently assigned to my Forgotten Hall runs, and she isn't even fully built yet.
Pela made the biggest difference in my party building since leveling her up. She has made MoC about 10x easier that I regret not using her sooner. I was using earlier guides so I got the 4pc wind set on her and not even paying attention to where's she's at on rotation. I should just mix up the pieces as recommended and stop worrying myself.
I used to give Pela hand-me-down relic pieces from Yanqing, but now I built her defensively, and she survives more in SU. She's my go to def shredder to boost my DPS damage, next to my Silverwolf.
I’ll get around to building her after Luka! I finally got Welt and Himiko decent enough and moved onto Blade but my 4* supports are neglected because too many units atm lol
Pela is my favorite 4star in game. She's my first E6. She works really well with my Blade. She's great with AoE damage dealers cuz she debuffs everybody!
Pela is a staple on most MoC Stage 10 clears, not to mention, the entirety of MoC itself. Just slap HP% planar sphere on her to make sure she won't die and you're good to go. I say that because people are stuck with the mentality that planar spheres have to be elemental dmg. It's not always the case. For supports like Pela and Tingyun, slapping HP% sphere will make them able to survive more. Anyways, Pela is one of the comfort characters to run. Veteran turn-based players knows how valuable Def-shred characters are, and they all used Pela since Day 1.
i like Vonwacq on all my supports with Ults that can break weakness so they break them faster, the advance forward at the start of the turn is also helpful for setting up stuff for skill point hungry allies like Mega Dan
question, does pela's e6 work like welt's talent? as in, will it proc twice on her basic attack? because it would be insane if it did, near doubling her basic attack
I use Pela and a support Blade in Calyxes for getting character exp and just auto-play it. Pela always has her ult up every 2nd wave and Blade just one shots them. I'm glad I got her and have her at E5. ❤ Pela
I love how the game targets my squishy pela that has hp orb and def body piece, while she is with a preservation and destruction units. I love you MoC 10 2nd half
Great guide i learnt something new even though i have been using her for a while. Like i never checked that you can actually stack the defence shred of technique and her ult. So I always held off on her ult until i need the defence shred again. But I am trying to build very high EHR on pela with good defence because I have resolution at only S1 and I want to be able to proc it more consistently.
Nice to see updated guides on old characters. All of the info for this game that is on the internet is tremendously outdated now because it was made 3-4 months ago before new sets came and before new harder content changed everything up. Why would you use 2 piece messenger instead of just finishing out the Musketeer set though? Youre losing 10% attack damage buff for the exact same amount of speed, and the majority of her usage is her auto attacks anyways to build SP for your hyper carry.
Hi! As discussed, it's the flexibility of the substats that can give 2pc combos an edge. If we're comparing - 2pc Musketeer (12% ATK) + 2pc Messenger (6% SPD) vs. - 4pc Musketeer which also has 12% ATK, 6% SPD, but an extra 10% Basic ATK then assuming they have exactly the same substat values, the Musketeer will have the slight advantage. In that case, definitely go for it. But generally speaking, 2pc combos very likely allow for better substat rolls which can let them rival, or if the substats are really good, even noticeably overtake the 4pc set, in this case, the 4pc Musketeer, especially since, in the first place, the 10% Basic ATK DMG bonus doesn't THAT MUCH better than the 2pc ATK/SPD combo on Pela. :)
She's soo good! I just build her quite recently, and i already max her ult and talent all the way (basic and skill still lv1 lol). I cant wait to put her and Jing Liu on the same team! Hopefully i'll get her to e4 on Fu Xuan's banner to unlock that juicy 15% ice res!
E6 Pela does pretty good damage on her skill. I always pair her with Silver Wolf to stack defense down and both function as very strong sub DPS. Can’t wait to add Jingliu to the mix so I can fully take advantage of Pela’s E4.
I made the decision to raise her as one of my "First Eight", and I... do not at all regret that. She has been a mainstay of my teambuilding ever since, especially since I skipped Silver Wolf in favor of Luocha. Her 100% uptime on her field-wide -37% DEF shred has been a godsend in both MOC and Swarm Disaster and I don't really ever see that not being useful in the future.
Any thoughts on the new nihility Herta store lightcone 'Solitary Healing' for Pela? I know Break Effect will be worth less than the EHR you can get from 'Tutorial', but as a 5 star is it still good as a stat stick?
It's really a stat stick at best and I personally can't recommend getting/leveling it up specifically JUST for Pela. But if you have it built already for other units, and would rather switch LCs around to save resources, then it'll do itm.
I was upset with my past pulls that resulted in me getting her to E6 because even tho I had Silverwolf's event LC I still found no usage for her. But now that I got lucky with Jingliu's banner she suddenly became the perfect support for her. I also had Bronya who I never used nor upgraded before. Lucky for me, the 3 of them work perfectly together. Add any healer and the team is complete.
Its too bad that, just like albedo, if you missed the SW event then you also missed her BIS lc, Before the Tutorial Mission Start. It was so good on her that you will not use anything else
Can’t wait for Pela to get a 5 star version. She’s literally just gonna be Himeko 2.0 slinging around a bunch of laser drones to turn enemies into melted swiss cheese
Thank you~~~~ been searching for info on pela's recommended EHR because idk whether i should be targeting near 100 to bypass the enemy effect res or is it useless to do so. Before this, already reached near 100 EHR with help from the event LC looks like it was unneccessary 😂
So would Dan Heng IL, Pela, Yukong, Healer/Sustain (Havnt figured out who I want in that slot yet) be a good team comp? My Dans relic farming has been unbelievably bad so he's still not done.
Using Pela, March, Natasha and Dan IL is very fun plus it's F2P friendly and less likely to die You can replace March with Gepard for better team wide shields meanwhile Natasha can be replaced with Loucha for easier heals saving you SP for the team. If you have Loucha you can use either Tingyun, Asta, Bronya or SW for a hyper carry team or even add Gepard if you want a good shielder for survivability. Unfortunately I don't have both so March and Natasha will be my main stay team.
Hey, Sevy. I got a suggestion. For Relic Stats template, please use the words "Head, Hands, Body, Feet, Sphere and Link Rope" instead of showing us the UI when you go to the character's Relics because most of us don't know what are the main stats available in a specific piece and even the abbreviation of those main stats. I hope I made my self clear. Tagalog na lang sana. lol
Thanks for the guide! The only thing I don't like about Pela is that they named her after pro-war russian singer who supports putin and all that during a full-scale invasion. That's all you need to know about hoyo's moral compass
