I wanted a pelau recipe! I never wrote down mom’s pelau when she was making it! She used to use oil to brown the sugar and she did her chicken the same way as you!
I admire how ppl can cook their pelau in one pot, mine never tastes good.I always have to boil my rice and the peas separately then add to the meat pot.Then it gets the flavour.
Ria, your pelau looks yummy, I made your menu last Sunday, exact potato salad ( got the Tdad sweet potato at Publix) but I also put mayo in the cabbage. You are a great cook, love your recipes.
