Pelican Bay / Cayo Costa 

That's a powered paraglider or PPG if you're one of the cool kids. There's two seat versions and if it interests you, there's usually someone in your area with one that'll take you up. And we anchored in Pelican Bay 35ish years ago. The sand bar has moved a bit according to Google Earth, but looks the same otherwise. I keep telling you- I'm reliving my gulf coast cruising childhood through your videos. Thank you so much.

Another great video. We were in the exact location you are on the beach in that lagoon. That’s where we ingested a shell into the impeller trying to “ Back in…” Thus, the reason we also acquired a 1994 pontoon boat (with a bullet hole in it) to take sandbar trips. Boca Grande is awesome, but the water temperature is , well, “Urine” for some warm water there!

Please do yourself a favor and do everything that you can to protect your skin. I have been fortunate to be a snowbird for almost 2 decades. I am lucky that I am among the 1%'s as I am approaching 80 years old. However, I have experienced at least 4 different types of skin cancer in the past 2 years. I have been lucky enough to have caught the more serious melanoma early enough to have it successfully removed, but I was very foolish to avoid skin protection for my entire life. I love your channel as I am very familiar with your area and enjoy your HAPPY OURS.
