i have the mustang and for whatever reason that bags isnt a dry bag, its just storage. most people dont even use it and will just put dry bags or coolers or something else in that spot. like i kayak south puget sound a lot and the sound has some pretty choppy weather sometimes and water gets into that bag every time
Husband & I are about to start as well, I'm also looking into the Mustang( how does your wife like it ?), Husband is looking at a Lifetime Tamarack Pro.. so he can fish from it better & be able to haul camping gear for us easier..... thanks for sharing
How do you like your Pelican Rebel? It looks like a very solid fishing kayak for the price but I've been having a horrible time trying to find any info about it online or anywhere.
I did not find much on it either. However, if I was to fish on a regular basis I would look for an sit on top kayak. The sit in more for recreation and could be more of a hassle when trying to fish.
@@raysway6050 mannnn unfortunately I was going to go over the weekend and got a call my best friend had passed away. I flew out immediately and didn't get a chance. Keeping you guys in mind though. Will definitely let y'all know what I think of the mustang
Well it is not fast but not slow either. What it lacks in speed it makes up in stability. Holds its path well and maneuvers fairly good for the twin hull design. If fishing is the primary reason you would be using it I would suggest a sit on top kayak I lieu of an sit in design.
@@raysway6050 thank you for replying. I just bought exact same one. I am not sure about river streaming though? I don't care abkut speed but want to use multi purpose
@@raysway6050 My Mustang is the same color as your Rebel. I haven't really landed on a name for it yet. The Flaming Cheeto keeps popping into my head....there's gotta be a better one though.
@@raysway6050 ohhhaha Dirty Dorito it is!! Thanks. I like that one! So much better than Flaming Cheeto.....Flaming Cheeto sort of has a less than desirable connotation to it. Dirty Dorito X^D
Good, uh, video, about, uh, the, um, kayak. Practice your dialogue to reduce the “uhs” and “ums”. Gets annoying. It shows you didn’t think any of it through.
