Jumping back in the youtube game with one of my most challenging builds yet. Sorry there haven't been as many new videos lately. I've had to make a conscious decision to focus first and foremost on the work itself. Documenting the process has to be a secondary goal for me so I can put out the best PCs I can.
Stay tuned for PART 2 and a full parts list. This one is just going to be a 2 part video.

As a photographer that is getting ready to start traveling, I have been thinking of building something like this one of these days, I would love to try and fit a monitor into one. But that would be crazy hard without going to a really big case. Great video!

Rock on! Brilliant idea. Besides gaming, I could see this for traveling photo, video, pros wanting the crunch power of a full PC compared to a laptop. I just calculated, I lose 15% cpu power for the money going from a desktop to a laptop PC. Nice work.

TY. This rig actually out performs the original chassis with the panels now off. So you get more thermal overhead then the standard desktop tower.

Do you have any concerns about static electricity building up in the case? I have a few of these hard cases and they are bad about that.

The fact that it is a "chassis in a chassis" kinda solves this. The inner metal frame acts as a Faraday shield floating within. Also modern parts are much less prone to this problem to begin with : )

@@PollyTechComputerMind That is good to know. I just started thinking how these hard cases really build up static, mine is always covered in dog hair! LOL
