The Fountain Pen with a Twist . This ergonomic fountain pen is great for left and right handed writers. Long writing sessions, won't be a problem with the fatigue free soft grip.
I know these are considered “entry level,” but I thoroughly enjoy mine, and want more colors! I got curious and went to Goulet Pens, and all their Twists come only with a medium nib, but that’s ok.
Yes, I do wish they had different sized nibs. As you said, that's "ok" . Pelikans are good writers though so medium nib only with this one is forgiven.
I love this company, I just purchased this pen haven’t used it yet. I love the med nib so I’m all set. Amazon has this pen with fine nib in many more colors, Almost purchased a teal one.
Great review and I would add that it is not a scratch it is a Seam from the manufacturing process, they all have them and it proceeds through the grip where the nib section begins. The color is unique and the only Holo color available, very nice for the price point. Nibs and laser cut, very accurate and a great starter fountain pen especially for the price, can be found for much lower cost in more basic color ways... Enjoy :-)
I was so certain that I had scratched it some how. And yes, very nice price point for a starter fountain pen. That color just mesmerizes me. It's so deep! Purple is my favorite color.
Hi thanks for watching and subscribing - I like the idea of showing the collection I have so far of my modern fountain pens. It will most likely be in the beginning of the new year. Stay tuned :)
Mine has that exact same “scratch,” so I think it might be a production limitation or flaw. I felt like the grip forced me to hold the pen at such an angle that I was writing with the side of the nib. It wasn’t the smoothest writing experience. I’m right-handed, by the way. The color is gorgeous, though. Thanks for the video!
Hi there, thanks for letting me know because I thought I had scratched it. At first, it was indeed cumbersome writing with such a structured section, but after more writing sessions it became comfortable. I am certain they intend for this particular fountain pen to guide early writers on proper technique.
I was going to say, everyone keeps mentioning that scratch. There must be something about it that we don’t know yet. I ordered a girly rose one, and if it has that I plan to circulate a letter to pelikan wanting to know if there’s a secret chamber
Post Script: I got mine in girly rose, and can confirm mine has the identical blemish, though it’s less glaring on the lighter finish. Also, can confirm the seam runs through the grip section as well. I’m glad y’all warned me about the seam.
