Les Thompson reveals his one rod pellet feeder attack! Tackle, bait and tactics are covered in details in this 19 minute film, recorded at the beautiful Monkhall Fishery in Shropshire. Stock Media provided by MuswayStudio / Pond5.
Hello Les. Now don't get me wrong the pellet feeder is deadly but don't you think that on a peg that you are faced with today with the boards going down into the water on the island it's not going to be undercut so the fish cannot really really easily get to your payload and hook bait as it's obviously not facing the correct way. Now some people think that they are casting tight and you have other anglers that do cast tight and in return normally get quicker bites. I just paused it on 13 minutes where you have had a liner most likely from a fish trying to get to the bait? ¿ To an island like that the method feeder would in my opinion be better with a foot slack line but I would not hesitate to chuck my home made pellet feeders into deeper water. This is all my opinion and I could be wrong but I'm a tight caster or it just doesn't feel right to me. I obviously come down the shelf in the colder weather conditions, ,,,,anyway just one match mans opinion. Tight lines 👍
