Use less flour on your peel or get a perforated peel next time so you can jiggle the pizza on the peel and the excess will fall through. All that flour on the stone will burn and leave a nasty taste on your pizza. Also prevents the crust from getting crispy.
Hi. I am wanting to buy a pizza insert for the Silverton 620. Because of the sloped lid, I need to know if there will be enough 'headroom' for the insert and still be able to close the lid completely. Can anyone tell me the dimensions from the top of the lower grill grate to the inside of the lowest point (front) of the sloped lid? I'm told for a Green Mountain insert I need 6 inch height at the front of the grill, from grate to lid. Thank you! PS It is for a gift, I don't have access to the grill itself or I would measure :) Thanks

probably because they have never heard of GMG....only after reading you cement i looked up GMG and couldnt find anything, put in GMG smoaker and found Green Mountain Grills, never heard of it... nor seen anything like it in any store
