Oh boy. This is porn for me. I have lil' hands marker brand. It's similar to crayola. I wish I live in the same country as you do. There's not much of an art supplies here in the PH.
Boom Panes it hard to find a lot of cool stationery stuffs here in our country and the materials tend to be expensive. We have sakura and marvy uchida tho.
[Edit]: Please keep in mind that my channel is mainly about planning/bullet journaling, and I don't make any professional drawings/illustrations. Therefore, I don't own any alcohol-based markers (e.g. Copics), because they bleed through regular paper and I wouldn't do them justice anyways. ❤️ Links to everything (plus time stamps) are in the description!
I did the whole of my high school and first two years of uni using up all the free pens I got at a career fare. We had to pay a little for the bus so we all decided to get every freebie possible. My sister also didn’t buy any pens for about three years.
First of all, the video couldn't be better, very good content and awesome editing! I'm not kidding right know, I have my mildliners since a year and never knew that they had 2 tips. 🙈😂 I only used the marker one for the whole year and I just discovered it through the video, I feel so stupid right know. 😅 So thank you for letting me know 🙈
Hahahah! 😂 Don't worry, the same thing happened to me when I first got them. And then one day I was trying to read the label and saw the word "FINE" with the arrow pointing to the other end. 😂 Thank you so much for the kind words, Marie!
Camilla Løschbrandt Thank you so so much! ❤️ The editing does take up a long time but it's something I really enjoy doing. I use mostly Adobe Premiere Pro, but you could achieve the same editing in Final Cut as well, for instance. 😊
I was thinking the same thing! what a great model in what a perfect video looks and sounds like!! easy to listen to, smooth, silky voice and the editing itself is superb!! well done!!
ok so this was in my recommended and I watched it on a whim, but omg. Wow. I'm so amazed at how organised you are. All the swatches were so neat, you went through each pen in so much detail like they were each a child of yours lol. You voice is so nice and soft. You can tell this whole video was put together with so much planning and preparation. Subscribed. How long did it take you to do this video?
Zairanang Haha, best comment ever, thank you!! 😂 This video took me a long time to make, especially the editing.. I'd say probably 40 hours total. But I am getting faster at editing so that's good 😁❤️
This video is 2 years old. I've watched so many swatching videos in preparation for my bullet journal yet yours is still the standout. Beautifully presented, so organised and your font choice is perfect. Great video. On to watch your pen storage DIY now!
I've spent so much time (maybe too much time) this summer watching bullet journal videos; I only stumbled upon your channel an hour ago but I'm so glad I did. All of your videos are clearly well thought out and beautifully edited. Your channel will go so far! If you do a Q&A anytime soon: When did you first start bullet journaling, and what did a typical planning spread (weekly/monthly/daily) look like for you back then?
So many great ideas here! I love the samples of the black ink pens with their point size written next to them, and something about all of the color swatches just makes me happy! You have a real gift for making videos and editing. 👏 👏 👏. Yes, I would love to see a video of how you made your foam board pen holder. Thanks for another awesome video!
The Pentel Sign is a fine tip felt pen for regular use. The Pentel Touch is a fine tipped brush pen similar to the Tombow fudenosuke that is for calligraphy. You didn't buy cheap ones, you bought the wrong item. I hoped this helped.
Amazing video! Thanks for sharing! I like that you went into detail about each pen and did a comparison between similar pens! Would love to see a desk tour!
Hi Christina, loved this video ! I've always been obsessed with pens and papers, since I can remember so seeing all your pen collection was eye candy for me lol. Some ladies love to go shoe shopping, I'm in heaven when I enter a stationery store. Anyway, I'm a new fan of your channel, looking forward to more of your videos . Cheers!
i love the kohi noor pencils too! the reason why i clicked on this channel was because i was interested in learning about the crayola tips but i learned so much more and that's not a bad thing. I have heard about tombows and my birthday is coming up and this gives me something to think about.
I love your collection. I have been collecting stationary for the past 15 years and I would love to add some of your amazing pens to mine 😍. Thanks for sharing.
You have a stationery lover paradise just there!! I've just discovered your channel and I've already watched all your videos haha I love the edition, how you show and explain everything and of course, your style and bullet journal, you are really talented. Wishing to see more :)
Water also works great with the crayola supertips. When I want a “watercolour” look I just scribble the crayola on some plastic and use a brush with water to pick it up. Works really great!
Hi!! I would love to see a video on how you made your pen storage thingy!! Your have an awesome collection of pens!! I taught myself calligraphy years ago...loved it so much!! I need to get back to doing it again!! 🦋
My Collection has just got started I find most of my pens and marker super cheap at dirt cheap only spent $5 on fineliners , felt tip and a few sharpie pens eheihc was awesome I always go back and check currently look for deals on micro pens , zebra midliners and so on I love how many colors you can get I can’t wait to collect more
I have 3 out of the 4 sets out of the Kaiser color gel pens (pastel, metallic and glitter) and the glitter ones are amazing! I use them in my bullet journal lots!
I love the Crayola Super Tips! My pilot frixions are my babies. I've literally ran outside in the middle of the night to pull them out of the car so they wouldn't get too hot by the time I got up. lol
Thank you so much for this video!!! I just started my first bullet journal this week and all of your videos are super helpful and amazing/entertaining!!
Flare Marantal ... Even If I Spend My Own Money..They will still Scold Me cuz' ..."Things Like that isnt important.. Does that Give you Food or Money..Huh? " They said.
*thank you so much for putting all your pens in the description box it made my day because I thought you would be lazy and not put them so I spent like 1 and a half looking for them in amazon THX YOU SO MUCH*
Great!! I have a huge pen collection myself too. I dont like pens like copics though, because they bleed through paper too much... By the way thanks for letting me know that mildliners have two sides because i had been using the highligting tip for 1 and a half years and never knew that they had a fine tip as well :)
SO GLAD I FOUND YOU ACCOUNT. And I'm definitely going to subscribe to that monthly pen box. (If it ships to Canada). Love your work and your calligraphy style is so beautiful. Thanks for your tips and thanks for putting amazon links below!
Hey! I use the pentel sign pens for calligraphy actually! The tips seem stiff at first, but work with them a bit and they'll start to give and get softer. They're different from brush pens in the sense that they allow you to use more pressure on the down strokes, which makes for greater control and less shaky lines, especially for beginners! :) maybe try them out using more pressure and see if it works for you too? Love your content by the way!
Denicia Lew Thank you so much! Are you sure you're not talking about the Pentel Touch Sign pens? They look exactly the same but those are made for calligraphy, whereas the Sign that I have are just stiff as can be. 😅
Just found this.. Thank you so much! I'm just starting to plan out my bullet journal and as I've never done it before I didn't know what would be good to use and this video helped bunches!!
I actually learned how to do calligraphy using a pentel sign pen, so it's possible to to calligraphy with it ! I think it just takes a little more practise but it's definitely doable. LOVED the video
Ashley Tok Hmm, are you sure you're not talking about the Pentel Touch pen? They look exactly the same but they have softer tips and they're made for calligraphy. These are just like markers :D But I guess you can do calligraphy with any pen, at least faux one hehe :D
love it! i'd like to see a video like this about notebooks😊 and also I'd like to see a video about cheap crafts, journaling supplies, etc that you bought Online❤
I love your videos! First I thought you had a lot of them, but it looks I like ur kinda new. I thought u were a popular RU-vidr or something!- in a good way- Anyway keep up the great work and next u could make a video of u drawing or sketching. Btw if have one of the micron ( 03 ) and the long brush pen ( I forgot what it is called and I have black and colour blend ).
OMG My smile is from ear to ear! -not literally- Im so happy you saw my comment! When i saw your new videos i binged watched them! Keep up all the great work, i love your style and editing! Bye!
Hi. Just a note about your second fountain pen - I believe it's likely to be a Deli brand pen from China. I have several. I like having them for carrying in my bag so I can leave my treasures at home. I got mine from AliExpress but I think you can find them on Amazon and eBay.
i just realized that my fave shop sells tombow brush pens. I saw the cap and the same logo and boom i finally held a tombow brush penwithout even knowing.
