I love the option of a box for gifting, but I saw a comedian talking about boxes that are too nice making you feel guilty about throwing them out, and I could totally relate 😂

I have the Conklin Duragraph Titanium pen, another limited edition. It came with a steel nib. I decided to spend the money for a Bock Titanium nib, just to match the pen. There is a nice weight and well balanced if you do not post it. The cap really backweights the pen. Color aside, I think you will enjoy the pen.

Aloha Rob! I must of missed this Cult Pens exclusive? Is it new? I saw a few others that was on sale, but with Conklin and Monteverde, it would have to be very much on sale for me to consider them. I have too many of their pens with less than ideal nibs with the fine nib being the most problematic for some reason. The switch to supposedly JoWo has improved the chances of getting a good nib, but there's still some duds. Love the design and look of many of their pens and of course the usually "low" price. Would be interesting to see a follow-up video showing the pen in action. Mahalo from Kauai, Hawaii. Thomas

I like that the grip and nib is the same colour as the rest of the pen. But, alas, i'm just not a gold person. Nice looking pen though (just not my colour). I would like to see you do a writing sample with the nib, that looks like a sweet stubby thing.

Hi Rob. I want to buy my first Conklin but am a little wary about their pens having heard many horror stories. That said, I do think they design very pretty pens and this one is no exception. I like the colour and the highly polished finish. I don't tend to post my pens so that wouldn't worry me. I hope you can show us how this one writes in a future video. Thanks for the unboxing and yes, the outer box is lovely.

Other than the use of the brand name and some design elements, the Yafa Conklin is nothing like the original. Legendary? Not the modern Conklin. Infamous, more like. 😁 Original was built to standards Yafa still doesn't seem willing to try to reach for. Original had exclusively 14K gold nibs made in Toledo, Ohio. The entire pen was made there. Not a Taiwanese pen made to mainland Chinese specs with a German steel nib tangentially stamped "Toledo." Rant over. 😂 If it writes well, might be worth the price. If they'd fix the plastic on metal fittings... Screams "design by Cadillac, built by Dongfeng" otherwise, to me, so should probably be priced more in line with a Bock nibbed Majohn.
