These tutorials look extremely difficult but really easy to get the hang of. The first time learning is really frustrating but after 20 maybe 15 minutes it gets a little more simple. It took me 2 hours to learn this, so stuff like this takes a lot of patience. I'm impressed, you must be a very patient person to do this.

Things that affect to pen spinning : (I guess) 1. Pen type 2. Amount of ink 3. Surface of the pen 4. Center of gravity of pen 5. Weight in certain part of pen 6. Pen Lenght The point is that, you can't do the exact same trick with different pen. Sometimes it's harder and sometimes it's easier

I do a spin where I put the base where my 1st knuckle on my pointer finger starts, the tip of my middle finger on the outside middle, and my thumb in between. Then quickly push with your middle finger and release your pointer finger at the same time and the pen spins around your thumb. Then catch it with your middle and pointer finger.

I'm trying it out for 10 mins and with diff 'shapes' (the casing) of pens and pencils, I got it with a mechanical pen easily.. (1) the Pilot Hi-Tecpoint V5 is too big plus it's cap cover almost half of it's body, (2) a regular smooth HB pencil, too light, (3) an 'angular' Yamato HB pencil, (4) an 'angular' Pilot ballpoint pen and last is an combo of smooth-angular body mech pen.. I think the weight and body of the pen helps to 'move it'
