A nice drive around the city of Georgetown in Penang, Malaysia. Georgetown is the capital city of Penang (Pulau Pinang). Georgetown is located on the island part of Penang. Penang has 2 parts: Penang Island and Seberang Perai (on the main land of peninsula Malaysia). They are connected by Malaysia's two longest road bridges, the Penang Bridge and the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah Bridge.
Georgetown is a top tourist attraction in Malaysia, known for its history and well-preserved colonial architecture, thus named as one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The architecture of Penang especially in Georgetown reflects the 171 years of British presence on the island, combining with local, Chinese, Indian, Islamic and other elements to create a unique and distinctive brand of architecture
Georgetown or Penang in general also famous as the 'food heaven". This has something to do with its multicultural and diverse communities in Penang, therefore you can easily find proper Chinese, Indian, Malay, Thai food and a mix of everything here. It is definitely the melting pot of Asian cuisine.
