you probably dont care at all but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the login password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me!
We did a partnership with That Container Hotel. Such a cool place to stay. Penang is the best. The local food there is amazing. It's a shame you weren't there longer to have some. - Thomas
Sometimes that call for a burger is strong! haha We love Asian food so much though. After 4 months straight there we were so sad to leave the food. Looking forward to more of your adventures 😀 - Thomas
I love y'alls vlogs! I'm working through college right now, but you two give me so much hope for the future. Thank you for sharing your lives and adventures with the world! I hope that one day I will scratch off as many places on the map as you have! ❤️✨
+Katy Ainslie aww thanks so much for your kind words Katy! Honestly you are doing the best thing and it's what we did. We went to uni for 5 years, worked during our uni so we could go on short trips, then we worked full time for a year and then travelled for a full year! Studies important, travel will be there for you!
That video was good ..lots of fun..the interaction with the street art. I like seeing the street vendors with food and stuff also the smaller cafes, some of the best food I have had on a trip was from these places..circa Bangkok. 1966-68..
Borneo is incredible! Go to Semporna for snorkelling and ask local people for places. I ended up in Lahad Datu to go to a Jungle Camp, where researchers are working, but you can also go there. Its in the middle of nowhere and you can see a lot of animals in wildlife. (called danum valley). Of course go to see the orang utans and to Mt. Kinabalu.
Sabah places that u MUST go: 1) Kinabalu Mountain staying in Kundasang area, really really amazing view of the mountain early in the morning!2) Semporna Islands - Mantabuan Island, Bohey Dulang Island really really really really amazing!
The pronunciation is sort of like "Boo kit murr ta jump". the "mh" is sort of like how pho(the Vietnamese noodle) is pronounce but replace the "p" with a "m". There are actually more stuffs to be explored in Penang but you guys have definitely done an awesome one with just half a day to spend there. The drone footage is amazing as always. Not too sure if you guys are still at Kota Kinabalu or have already went to Sandakan. If you guys are at Kota Kinabalu, a couple of things that are worth giving a visit will a day trip to the islands in Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park. Otherwise jungle trekking at Mt Kinabalu will be pretty cool too. If you guys are already at Sandakan, I think the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre will worth a visit (if you guys are not working with Orang Utan for the volunteer project). Otherwise a visit to Rainforest Discovery Centre during sunset will be good if you would like to see flying squirrels. A river cruise at Kinabatangan River will be nice too if you would like to see different animals (the highlight should be Proboscis Monkey 😏). Those are some of the more interesting stuffs that I have done near Eastern Borneo.
+Desmond.Fido we totally just tried pronouncing that out loud in our uber haha 😂 we have been to Sabah and Serwah already - totally behind on the vlogs because of that week in Thailand! I think with all these suggestions we will just have to come back to Malaysia. Also want to pop into Brunei sometime as well
Hahaha. Do u guys mean Sarawak? Im sure that's an iPhone typo, I have done the same thing. It's alright anyway, hope you guys enjoyed you trip in Malaysia. Hopefully i'll be there the next time you guys decided to visit Malaysia again. Take care and all the best prepping for the wedding! The wedding shall be another series of exciting vlogs :D
Borneo > Kuching , Miri ,& Kota Kinabalu , lots to see and do. Food is awesome 👍🏻😊 Miri - go to Wheels Bistro , ask for Kathy 👍🏻 Kuching - AirAsia counter at Airport , ask for Betty ( friendly helpful AirAsia staff )
Hye both of you. If you come back to Penang. You should try more authentic food of Penang. I would suggest Nasi Kandar, Pasembor and Char Koew Teow. And for desserts you can try Cendol and Ice Kacang.
The restaurants reminded me of Brooklyn! The street art is so cool, I can't wait to go to Penang and take pictures with the wall people 😆 I love how you said Macca's! Before coming to Australia, we never heard the term "Macca's" but now we can't get away from it 😂 Thanks for sharing and safe travels guys! -Amanda
If you guys are heading to Kota Kinabalu in Sabah, do visit the nearby islands (pulau sapi and pulau manukan). It only takes you 10 mins by boat from the city! Pulau Sapi has clear blue waters...
I hope you don't mind, but the cedol at Penang road is really better. I really hate lining up for things, but that cendol is worth the line, and that line is long.
In Borneo (Sabah) , they have sepilok orangutan rehab centre, mount kinabalu, they have biggest flower in the world called 'Rafflesia', super duper wonderful islands such as sandakan island, sapi island, manukan island(highly recommended), kinabalu park, if u want to eat some seafood, sabah is the perfect place. There are also some caves over there like Gomantong limestone cave..
Flying The Nest in sarawak .we have the biggest cave in the world..Mulu cave,Niah cave..Please come join us @The Rainforest World music festival on July! 😃😃
Whhyyyy I Live in Pulau Pinang But it’s incredible I can see my house from the pictures .-. And it’s hilarious you guys pronounce the words I live in Penang since I was a baby and never know some places .-. I’m terrible now
next time you come to Malaysia, check out Malacca, a bit like Penang, but it has more historical buildings and stuffs. Malacca is the beginning of Malaysia empire fyi. great vlog btw, i'm subscribing!
That mavic footage tho! I never thought that my hometown would be very beautiful from the air. Btw, you guys should spend more time in penang 😂😂. I hope you guys have a wonderful experience and do come again next time! 😁😁
+Typical Human Being the mavic gives a different perspective to travel. I just enjoy using it to get the lay of the land - adds to my travels so glad you are enjoying it too!
My biggest recommendation in Borneo is to do a 3D2N river cruise tour on the Kinabatagan. Lots of different operators available, and you will see tons of wild animals. No need to go to the zoo or sanctuaries!
awesome vlogs guys! really love it. please tell me the 1st music in this vid. thanks a lot for coming to Malaysia. really proud and hope to see you guys again
Omg i love you guys already! Please, come to Johor Bahru. It is located at the Southest part of Malaysia. Can see that you guys love classic cafe and awesome place to take Instagram photos, come to Johor Bahru, and look for Jalan Dhoby. You will love it i swear. Do vlog if you do!
