How do you get the measurements so accurate for each layer?!

I eyeballed it. Lol. I knew I wanted half the bar to be the yellow and then the rest could be 4 equal parts. So split in 2 then split one of the pitchers into 4.

What do you do with the left over after cutting?

I plan on putting the chunks into another batch of soap. I might roll them in some mica so that they have a bit of an outline. I have a video from about a year or so ago where I put cut up chunks of soap in the middle of a bar. I really like the way it looked.
