Sir I have one observation of 8th House Mercury and Sun as both my wife and daughter has this combination in their horoscopes in case of it is in taurus sign she could not attend the last rites of her father in my daughters case its in pisces sign. Observation is that both of them r extremely cheerful and very humerus when they start laughing it is difficult to get them back to normal. I don't know about other people with the same combination.
