Yes I LOVE Violet and the actress does such a wonderful job expressing that tender and understanding look a good mother has. Plus making sure to tell Colin about the proposal before leaving for the ball… SHE KNEW WHAT SHE WAS DOING 😂❤

In the book Violet saw years before that it’s Penelope who Colin should marry and wanted it for them. She saw it in them growing up. So yeah this momma knew exactly what she was doing.

OMG! I know....Penelope's mother is like an Evil Stepmother....Colin's mother is nice and supports her son!

​@@grammydhicks3566 it was really nice to see it play out in the show because after his talk with her....his mother watched Colin from the sidelines as he walked up to Penelope....and after that ball...she walked into his study to ask him if there was something more he wanted to discuss....of course Colin said no there was nothing....but mother knows best....especially when Colin didn't feel like going to that other ball until his mother let him know that Penelope was going to get proposed to....which made Colin come to his senses that he needed to go and get his girl Penelope....the love of his life! And what makes it eve better with Colin & Penelope is that their relationship was based on friendship first which is definitely how it should be done.....having to be forced to marry someone isn't right....and that is pretty much how the other girls find their mate....which seems so wrong...Colin & Penelope's love story is a very special one for that exact reason! Friends to Lovers! Polin is by far the very best couple in this whole show!

@@marissa._ It's more about wanting Pen to feel wanted and feel his love after so many years in love with him. In the books, he's 33 and she's 28 and she's loved him since she was 16. I just wanted him to show a bit more effort. That's all.

I mean literally to speak there is so much to cover in Polin story. I don't think even 10 episodes would do justice. If seen the entire bridgeton seasons as a whole then i would definitely want colin to hurry up with his feelings Like literally now or never 😂😂

Yes, I am super anxious. It can NOT spoil the love...both times she was protecting Eloise and Colin. She never did it to be mean, she saved Eloise from being charged by the Queen as Lady Whistledown and she saved Colin from eloping in a marriage trap. Granted he said he would have done it even if he had known, and Penelope had her own selfish reasons but still both times were to stop something bad. She even outed herself this season for the help from Colin. I'm hoping they eventually see that.

Absolutely worried about it....Especially when he already confessed his feelings to her and asked her to marry him....because now he's going to be mad at her I mean he was barely bad about her reading his journal....but he's most liking going to be more mad at her about the LW thing....but I guess it also depends on how it all plays out....because at this point it is a bit different from the book!

Some people think he missed the mark on his declaration but at the same time, I am like... he managed to do all of that whilst trying to balance and keep his emotional features in check in the carriage. He ate that whole thing up and left nothing behind.

Marina was so mean to say that to Penelope....I never liked Marina glad she is out of Colin's life and he is with Penelope!
