here’s an acoustic-ish version of American Healthcare :) my new EP 'Hazards' is out on 8/27: lnk.to/hazards Filmed at Bittersweet Media Studios in Philly Edited by Jaclyn O'Connell Audio Mixed/Mastered by Kyle Pulley of Headroom Studios
@@yz_nzx1380 i was saying in context because this was created after the glitzy version the beat kinda stuck with it and as you see in the title “acoustic-ish” meaning it can be glitzy or glitching to show that it was thought as of in the way of the glitzy version if that makes sense
penelope's voice is just so perfect for her songs. they make me slightly uncomfortable in the most beautiful way possible. i just can't with all this talent.
The little smile at the end... She knows exactly how good she is. I love this song as someone that aspires to be a doctor, I think it's very important to stay positive but also pay attention to the huge flaws in the world like the ones her songs focus on.
@@robloxdevgod419 You provide nothing useful to the comment section. I hope you learn that just because you don't like something doesn't mean you have to be shitty to the people who do like it.
Penelope’s music never seems to fail at getting the emotions of the song to be apparent while also implying that there’s something more. Like in this song you can just *feel* the narrator spiraling into a chaotic pit of despair. Penelope’s music is truly something else
Her piano playing is very talented. It sounds slightly off because that's how she intended it. She's playing a song as well as purposely hitting atypical notes to create a second layer of more chaotic sounds.
Why am I crying omfg. I pretty much grew up in hospitals. I've been sick since birth, and I've had so much people die around me every day. I've seen so many doctors deny me care because I cost too much to help. I live in Canada. I'm in pain and I need medication that are not covered by public health care. Thinking of the health care system in the US is a nightmare. I'd be dead AND my family would be indebted for generations to come. Fuck Hippocrates, I guess.
@@jacobs1264 from what i’ve seen it’s mostly just tiktok, her comments have been flooded with assholes recently. i don’t understand why people can’t just ignore and move on if they don’t like something, instead of being shitty about it.
I literally don't understand how people dislike this song. This song is beyond a banger. One of my personal favorites! Penelope, if you're reading this (most likely not lmao,) I just want you to know how much your music has impacted my life. Whenever I feel sad, your music comforts me. It always puts me in the best mood. For example, I had the worst day today. As soon as I got in the car, I started blasting your music in my earbuds until they died. Don't listen to those people out there who review your songs and claim that they sound terrible. Those people forgot that they were doing a review on their personality and music taste. Also, you are EXTREMELY underrated. Most people only listen to your popular and TikTok-viral song "rät," but you should get recognized more for your other songs! I am supporting you and your career all the way
Just discovered Penelope Scott. God this is so good it makes me wanna cry. Reminds me there is a lot of good people out here, still caring about each other.
DUDE YESSSSSS i prefer the junkyard version but OH MY GOD- this is so good??? i’ve been wanting an acoustic version with the changed lyrics from the glitzy one-
@@robloxdevgod419 Imagine going to every positive comment about the song and/or the singer to say something rude for no reason. If you don't like the music, just click off. Nobody wants your negativity.
@@robloxdevgod419 what do you mean, hop off the phone and go study? You're the one not studying and spending all your time on your phone sending hate comments to people who have opinions. Lmfao I thought humans had the right to say what they think? So YOU hop off the phone and go study, then we'll talk.
you possess such talent i’ve been a huge fan of yours ever since i first heard sweet hibiscus tea, it’s been amazing seeing you create more albums and singles and grow as an artist in general. i doubt you’ll read this but you honestly mean so much to me and have helped me through a lot. anyways you rock, keep up the great work :)
@lenny delaney you might want to think about having a less embarrassing youtube account before you attack people online, penelope scott is and always will be a queen.
@lenny delaney BAHAHAHAHA YOU DELETED ALL OF YOUR CRINGEY CONTENT. well at least you followed my advice. also greyson derulo is just a dumb joke because my name is greyson, i really don’t find that embarrassing, do better next time babe. also stop spreading negativity, we’re here to enjoy penelope scott.
ive been listening to this song for a week now and i dont feel like its the time to get tired of it yet. If i do get tired of it, there's always Montreal, Mommy Fwiend. Keep up the good work!
She's so talented in every way bro her music helps me so much and can we talk about her skills on playing the piano like I could never. This is so amazing.
Yes! Please do more acoustic versions! I got my fingers crossed that a few of the songs off Junkyard are gonna get a released with a higher sound quality! (Not that I don’t love the original versions !)
Sheesh as i've been re-listening to your music the sheer amount of genvy i get is just aaaaaa i love it so much (Also to anyone reading this, have a lovely day/afternoon/evening/night)
i hate how her music is considered “tiktok music” she’s so much more then that. everyone hates on selfcare when it’s such a catchy song. i hope she comes back to music one day
heyy! your probably not going to see this but I’m really really sorry for all of the hate that you get for your self care song. your my favorite artist and my favorite songs by you are sweet hibiscus tea, American health care, and mommy fwiend. take care queen!
