Funny coincidence (Luke Cage spoilers?) I'm rewatching Luke Cage and during season 1 when Mariah is framing Luke she tells the waitress (after giving her the money for framing Luke) "You never know what someone's capable of" We later find out the waitress already knew Mariah had killed Cottonmouth herself and Mariah saying it was a kind of confirmation for her that she was too far gone; I think Sofia's was similar, except her saying it was only indicating she didn't really buy Oz's story

The flood waters are still all over Gotham's lower levels and Matt Reeves said that he wants The Batman 2 to take place during winter, essentially revealing that Mister Freeze will be the main antagonist in The Batman 2. Should this happen, Mister Freeze will be in his element as he could threaten to freeze the entire city if he doesn't get whatever he needs to help cure Nora.

I love all the subtle nods to the Sopranos. When Oz leaves the city for the countryside it was like watching the Sopranos intro, his mom's house and neighborhood looks just like Livia's, and even the farmhouse property had a similar look to Hesch's house.

Lol what I love about this grounded tone is how realistic this is and how fast ppl could die and how Gotham criminal world truly doesn't feel safe So when u go back and watch The Batman and see how Batman made these tough guys look like jokes is very special for me it just shows how special Batman truly is

Hell of a job mate!!! Can’t really describe the feeling, just come from watching something that gets you on a personal high and then watching your breakdown and then getting even higher! Especially after your sopranos breakdowns, I was really looking forward to the show. Knowing that you were gonna break this down. Your knowledge of the comics plus your fandom of Batman really adds to my experienceof this show (by watching this breakdown). Anyways, hell of A job Looking forward to next weeks breakdown By the way, HBO was doing such a good job I really hope marvel’s paying attention over there at Disney+, Because it looks like they’re gonna do a great job with that dune series that’s coming up next too

Keep seeing this. Batman says in the first scene that it’s a big city and he can’t be everywhere. Also the movie was probably his hardest case ever. He’s probably in bed.

One scene I noticed that felt like a Deja Vu in the episode was the dinner scene with Os and Sofia which resembles a similar scene from the TV show Gotham S4 where Os and Sofia had their meeting.

That foot problem that Oswald Cobb is suffereing from can be easily fixed by a competent surgeon. They break all the toes and realign them with some pins. Then they put the foot in a cast and let it heal with the toes in their new position.

Farrell deserved an Oscar nomination. Hopefully he will at least get an Emmy for the TV show. I'm not a fan of the twilight kid as Batman but this is the best version of The Penguin they've ever done. Give me a movie with Affleck (in a better bstsuit, I know it's TDKR accurate but the big sloppy chest logo looks bad on screen) and Farrell as the Penguin and I'll be the happiest camper in Gotham.
