A Karlsson who plays this upcoming year like he played the second half of last year & a healthy Letang this year....we just got better! Karlsson was clearly frustrated & needed a half season to find his groove, who to play with full-time, and get comfortable. When he did, we saw a better defenseman who played almost up to what we traded for. I believe Dubas & comp are betting on that. Karlsson with Petterson was pretty awesome at the World's! To bad we didn't go after Zadorov 😢 A second line of a healthy Letang with the defense & presence of Zadorov would have been fantastic to watch this year!!!!
Less so the age and more so the depth. Bruins were pretty good and they were an older team recently. Last year Carolina was pretty close in age and they made the playoffs.
They picked up Hayes who was benched in his last few games in St. Louis . What was the sense of picking him up ? Sometimes I wonder where the Pens heads are at .
Will Malkin and the team generally become younger/faster if they drink Coke? Or disintegrate on the spot as if they were put into a vat of Mr. White's hydrofluoric acid?
I'll take a older sidney crosby over almost any young player out there... Letang and Malkin as well. The 3 are better then most players out there... watch this video and see all the older teams beat out everyone else for the most part..lol.
Letang gets burned everytime somebody comes down his side of the ice . He never could play Defense . All he is ai another Winger . He never plays an entire season .

@@brandonn7770 yes, they are but there was never a question, you made a statement. And karlsson is part of the core now, it's strictly because of them that the age average is so high. Those guys don't make that big of a difference when it comes to the avg age. Need to make everyone 24 with that core to be middle if not still on the high side for age. They aren't the main reason it's the corr
