It's always best to maintain a healthy weight. losing weight cause the body to look more defined, even for the private parts since theres less fat in those areas

I can relate to this, i grew up very overweight, and hit a point where i was worried about my health, I got serious about losing it after, and when i finally did lose weight in that area, it made my penis look much bigger, even though it was still 6.5 inches flaccid , it was not covered as much.

So I'm 237 lbs with around 34% bodyfat. And I've been this size for a few yrs now. And one thing I've noticed is that when i go walking or working out, my penis often times shrivels and almost goes inside liks a button on a fur coat. In my younger days when i was around 190-200 lbs I never had this problem. I'm finally fed up and decided im going to lose 40 lbs. I want to look and feel healthy again. I miss the energy and confidence I used to have.

The whole idea of "loose 30 pounds and gain an inch" (or whatever the numbers are claimed to be) actually is true in one aspect. The penis is anchored inside the body and extra weight WILL make more of it be outside of the body. Think of a fence post anchored to a rock. If there's 8' of post and the anchor rock is 2' below ground level, then you measure the post as 6' long/high. Now dump a bunch of dirt around it so that it's mounded up another foot. Now you have 5' visible. Did the post shrink? Of course not. Did you measure it as being shorter? Sure did. Remove that dirt. Is the post longer? From tip to anchor? No. Effectively or visually or usefully, did it get bigger? Yes, you now had another foot above ground and you can now use it for a 6' fence instead of 5 or you can hang six hanging basket plants off it instead of five, etc. Losing weight has lots of benefits as she mentioned but it also removes some of the fat at the base and exposes more of the penis outside of the body. The penis didn't actually change at all but it appears to have (girth, on the other hand, doesn't change at all when gaining or loosing weight other than that girth is affected by how "hard" it is and poorer blood circulation due to weight can cause the erection to not be as "solid" and that can shorten and thin the penis some there. But for the "lose wight/grow longer", with everything else the same, it doesn't matter to girth.

well I hope I don't freak anyone out when I say this but as a trans woman I've noticed that when I was skinny my umm..........my pe... ni...s 🙄😳🫣🤭 is the same size, what happens is the belly cuts off inches by getting in the way, it's not actually making it shrink it's that you won't be able to go all the way in unless your partner is on top, but if you're behind you will have to lift your belly in order to penetrate from other positions
