That's what I keep thinking about with the beard! Luckily (from my perspective, at least), Penn is very much against these nonstop films or shows centered around real life serial killers. He just spoke out against the Dahmer series and the Bundy film, which I find very bold and impressive because he's basically making statements against his "employer." Think that's a huge part of why he's perfect as Joe, he has the moral compass the character lacks--to put it very simply.
Hes too good of an actor to play Ted, its not new, its not interesting lol just cus people have a weird obsession with Bundy, they want Penn to play him. To add more to the weird obsession lol Penn deserves a better role/story
