You are a brave man. Most shops will not work on these finicky reels and I would never own one myself. (If you're bait and wait fishing on the beach you simply do it with a loosened drag. If you need to set the hook quickly you can palm the spool and then tighten the drag knob.) Thanks for posting this.
Thanks for watching, brother! True, most don't.... I think it's more of a time factor, but not really sure. Thanks for sharing the old school beach fishing tip.... I'm sure it'll help some readers out there.
I have 6 live liner penn reels and different sizes enjoyed your videos you are good at working on them I do my Work on my reels have know for over 20 years I have 38 reels you do a good job 👏 😊
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. That's what I was looking for when I said I couldn't find what I normally use (circlips). However, I don't think the ends would have been strong enough in this case, so I think I'll stick with the pliers going forward..... maybe I can get some standard pliers that have the spring in the middle?
How about, good afternoon, I wanted to ask you about some spare parts for a Penn spinfisher vi 4500ll reel, where can I get them Pinion & Oscillator Gear
