This is just great, I have two of them and one is kind of hard to spinn but I was worried to open it up, now with your tutorial I would give it a try, if I can´t find the problem I probably send it to you hehehe Thanks for sharing! that is the greatest gift any person can give to others, Knowledge. Glad I could help! Best wishes. If it is hard to spin, it is most likely dried grease or lack of lubrication. A good cleaning should help - Dennis

They a very nice reels with a good design in a small format. They are still available in the used market if you are searching for one

I just purchased one for 40$ with the Box but the anti reverse didnt work, I think the guy thought the reel was toast, thanks for the Tutorial

Esas piezas son muy difíciles de encontrar ya que la mayoría de las piezas nuevas y antiguas están agotadas. La mejor fuente en el mercado de segunda mano son sitios como eBay, donde los vendedores toman carretes rotos y venden las piezas utilizables que quedan. Gracias por preguntar, Dennis.

I have this and my drag knob is cracked. Mystic doesn't have any available. Still looking for a spare knob.

That is the weak point of this reel and the knob is no longer available as you note. It is also hard to find one in the used market and if you do, you will pay dearly for it. Best to try a super glue to mend the crack if it is no longer holding tension to the shaft - Dennis

This is a beautiful reel. I wish I had one. Great video Dennis. I recently acquired a Bretton 400 reel from France. Are you familiar with these reels? Have you ever worked on one before? Also got a Shannondoa reel. Do you know any information about this brand?

Sir I just put a new anti reverse spring in a 4200ss reel before I did it was spinning in both directions and the switch wouldn't stop it now it won't go in reverse at all any idea what I might have done wrong

I think you need to recheck your work. It may be how you reset the switch
