A walk from Bowlees that follows the Pennine Way and the River Tees. The walk passes Low Force, High Force, Cronkley Scar, Cauldron Snout & Cow Green Reservoir. From Cauldron Snout the walk leaves the Pennine Way after Birkdale, England's highest inhabited farm and crosses Maize Beck. From here we ascended Cronkley Scar, heading over Cronkley Fell before returning via Holwick. The walk was just under 19 miles. Music by Keane.
