penny... | REACTING TO RWBY VOLUME 3 CHAPTER 8 & 9 

Welcome to Rwby. Once you get past vol 3, you are officially part of the Rwby fandom. Vol 3 is the end of what people call the "intro" to the show.

The entirety of Volume3 could be titled "Hold on, it gets worse."

so it begins

"Can't they just rebuild her?" Rooster Teeth was asked that question about Penny at this time. Their response, "(after the attack) we see Penny's Aura leave her body" Since Aura is Attached to the soul, Penny lost her soul and Penny's soul is what made her alive, otherwise she would just be an unfeeling robot. Nice reaction, BTW.

In volume 2 when Yang was talking Blake into going to the dance you said 'I'm not going to cry'... I thought to myself "yes you will" and felt sad for you because I (and everyone else watching with you I'm sure) knew what was coming. I have watched RWBY all the way though 4 or 5 times, and it crushes me every time Penny dies.

23:16 The crunching of the metal as the wires squeeze inward. The first cut seen from an extremely close angle. The utter silence that follows, broken by the clank of the falling swords. The last sword stabbing the scrap of cloth and the sudden Inception "bwahh" that plays. And finally the train whistle-esque note that plays as you finally see the outcome. These are all examples of excellent cinematography and visual storytelling, and were carefully crafted to fully nail home the horror of the series' first main character death

Pyras greatest trick turning one penny into four quarters

Imagine how it was for us having one episode per week and having to sit and wait.. I cannot tell how upset I was at some of these really dark episodes and the amount of crying and worry, but yeah we're here after you're done with vol3 and feel the need to have someone to be emotional with lol :)

I enjoy watching your reactions to RWBY, especially the heart-touching moments (good and bad). The last episodes of volume 3 really need to be watched together - they remind me of The Expanse books. You think it can't get any worse, but then it does get even worse. Poor Roman, being called the least favourite ginger! :-D

Aaaah I was waiting for this one! The moment everyone’s heart shattered!

It’s been a few years since I last watched season 3. I forgot just how quickly this chain of events hits the fan.

Oh no.... I'd recommend that you watch the last three episodes in a row, otherwise you'll eat your hand with the cliffhanger....

This is the Episode I always anticipate a new Reactor I watch's reaction to.

And so it begins. This season does not let up from here and it really takes a few seasons to recover. I recomend watching a little RWBY Chibi to bring your spirits back up

I kind of hope you're not reading comments, because people can't keep quiet about spoilers and there's a lot of exciting stuff to come. You're not the only one who ships Oz and Glynda (I prefer him with Qrow but I can see it). "Shut up, hot man". 😂 Ironwood is being as kind as he can here, Yang could easily have been expelled. It still sucks. But on the other hand it's heartwarming to see how close Blake and Weiss have become. Qrow telling Yang about Raven because it's the only way he can think of to make his beloved niece feel better. Even if Raven's message is a cold one. Things that haunt every RWBY fan: "Do you believe in destiny", "What's your favorite fairy tale", and the guitar music riff that plays when Ruby first sees Mercury blocking her path in the hall. Velvet's terrible photography is a running joke. I think Pyrrha is afraid not that she'll have to keep secrets from Jaune but that she might forget him altogether if she merges with Amber. It's a scary thought. Ironwood: Ladies and gentlemen, there is no need for panic. Giant bird pecking on the dome: Hi, I'll be your reason for panic tonight and we have a full menu of options!

Is incredible how fast was everything going fuck up in this last episode, is very easy feel like everybody was falling deeper and deeper to hell, and the worst part? The season is not finished yet...

25:29 Nothing personal or anything, but it be funny if everyone remained calm thinking that just a robot was sliced up and not an actual person with a soul lol. The grimm attack would not had happened.

So Cinder decided to have Pyrrha kill Penny after discovering she was a robot and that it get people to start distrusting Atlas before the hacking of the droids.....which begs the question, what was the original plan, who were they gonna have Pyrrha kill originally
