Penny spinner cards - how to make the mechanism

I commend your efforts in making the card. Spinner cards are my favorite and can be made for any occasion. I would like to share some tips with you on making them more fun; as I've made these a number of times and have experimented with different papers. First of all, it's nicer to give someone the card with shiny new pennies on it. They should be cleaned up. Your cards are cute but if you really want the card to spin extremely fast, make a curved track like a hill slide. It's a lot more fun than just a straight track across the card. Sometimes in using card stock, if the item is slow to move, it helps to widen the track. A punch isn't necessary. It's easy to make a cut-out hill from an exacto knife. And use the cut-out as future template. Pennies move very fast on construction paper cards because the paper is thinner. And it doesn't require propping it up with adhesive foam like with card stock. I noticed you were tilting the card towards you to make it spin. Hold the card straight out in front of you and rock it back and forth. Then it will move faster.
