For those who don’t know Jason is the second robin to work for Batman, long story short joker kidnaps Jason’s Mom Jason goes looking for him finally found him and his mom but ends up getting beaten half to death with a crowbar by joker so that basically explains jokers nightmare part

"It" wouldn't have been in that form to take on the Joker and if he blew "It" up in Harley's form, "It" would have died. "It" has to follow the laws of nature. So if "It" takes the form of something whatever can kill that something can kill "It." Explosives in Harley's mouth going off would have killed her, so it would have KIlled "It". "It" take the form of things that most easily scares his prey and can alter the area to suit that purpose. Edit: Also courage of heart is the cancel to "It." The Joker didn't fear "It" and went on the attack. This would have made things rough on "It" and made "It" lose easier.
