I was happy when I heard Zoli was taking over on vocals. Been a long time Zoli fan from Ignite/Zoli Band his time with the Misfits. One of the most unique voices for the music we all love.
Super!!! Había estado buscando un video de Pennywise en la etapa con Zoli Teglas. Lo hizo muy bien en el poco tiempo que estuvo y "All Or Nothing" es un excelente album

NO ZOLI IS STILL IGNITE + THE ZOLI BAND. BUT WHEN I SAW PENNYWISE IT WAS WITH ZOLI FRONTING THE BAND AFTER JIM DROPPED OUT FOR A WHILE & THEY WERE AMAZING. BUT THEY HAVE TWO VERY DIFFERENT SINGING STYLES PERSONALLY I PREFER ZOLI'S OVER JIM'S JUST BECAUSE HES A SMOOTHER VOCALIST BUT I LOVE JIM AS WELL. I JUST WISH THAT ZOLI WOULD PUT OUT A NEW IGNITE CD BECAUSE ITS WAY OVERDUE. WWHC PARA SIEMPRE! MUCHO SUERTE PARA TODO MI GENTI!
Jim was the original singer of Pennywise. Not too long ago Jim left the band. once he left the band, Zoli became the singer of Pennywise. Zoli was a singer for a band called ignite before joining Pennywise. Zoli got injured and Jim came back ad is singer of Pennywise again. singer for this video here is Zoli singing. also maybe check out the movie - The Other F Word. Kinda explains why Jim left before. Zoli is good but I am glad Jim's back
ITS HARD TO TELL I CANT SEE FOR SURE EITHER. BUT I SAW PENNYWISE ON THIS TOUR.& THEY WERE AMAZING WITH ZOLI ON LEAD VOCALS I ONLY WISH THAT THERE WAS A FULL SET LIKE THE ONE WITH JIM SINGING IN PARIS ANOTHER GREAT SHOW. IN MY OPINION JIM IS GREAT BUT ZOLI IS SMOOTHER THEY HAVE THERE OWN DIFFERENT STYLES I PROBABLY PREFER ZOLI AS I LOVE IGNITE AND THE ZOLI BAND. PLUS I HAVE BEEN TRUE HARDCORE SINCE 1984 WHEN I WAS JUST A KID & AND STARTING LOVING HARDCORE. PLUS I WAS IN MY 1ST HARDCORE BAND WHEN I WAS ONLY ABOUT 13+-YRS OLD! SO I WILL BE HARDCORE UNTIL MY DYING DAY. ALSO MY FIRST HARDCORE CONCERT WAS THE ALMIGHTY JUDGE. PLUS A FEW YRS AGO I ACTUALLY FORMED A FRIENDSHIP WITH MIKE JUDGE. SO THAT WAS AN AMAZING SHOW IN THE PARTY ROOM OF A PIZZERIA AND MIKE ACTUALLY REMEMBERED THAT SHOW PLUS THE DRUMMER FROM THE GROUP I WAS IN FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME AS A GUITARIST BUT I WAS A BETTER LEAD VOCALIST. SO REPRESENT BOTH YOUR LOCAL SCENES AS WELL AS WWHC PARA SIEMPRE! OH WOW DONT YOU GUYS MISS THE GOOD OLD DAYS. ALSO A BIG SHOUT OUT TO THE MIGHT TERROR AND MY FRIENDS IN BOTH A.F & THE SO POSITIVE + STRAIGHTEDGE H2O! PLUS SOIA & BOTH ALL OF THE HARD WORKING BANDS FROM BOTH THE OLD SCHOOL & THE NEW SCHOOL. LONG LIVE HARDCORE THE PUREST FORM OF MUSIC THAT EXISTS TODAY! KEEP UP YOUR PMA;S NO MATTER WHAT KIND OF SHIT THAT YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH IN YOUR LIVES! THE BIRD
One of the worst ideas to have someone replace Jim as a vocalist. And then with Zoli, who has some very distinct vocal characteristics. It's no wonder it didn't last. Dig Zoli and Ignite, but am stoked that Jim came back for Pennywise.
jim was accepted as the norm. but as someone who dips an appreciative ear in and out of many bands( apart from bad religion and bad brains/full time)this new siger has called me to the fold! job done, on his part i think youll find!
I miss Jim. They are coming to Dallas in October and I really want to go but I just feel like something is going to be missing. Whatever, I'll still rock the fuck out regardless!
It is very strange to listen PW songs with zoli´s voice, but if you listen the new album it is one of the best performances I´ve listen from PW, drumms and bass are just amazing, and the voice has all the DNA from Ignite which I think is a fucking great mix....It is a a fantastic HC album, it is different and that makes it awesome... it feels strange but fuck it...all or nothing es increible!!
Zoli has to "Jim" it up to bring us back together. Doesn't feel the same after seeing PW every tour since 1991. js. I will always be loyal to the band. Fletcher is the best punk rock guitar player ever.
Holy shit exactly what I thought once the vocals started. I listened to All or Nothing like once or twice and now it sits on my shelf. It was ok but mehhh. And I was thinking about the tragic passing of Tony Sly (NUFAN) the other day and thinking if/when they ever feel like keeping it going that Zoli may be a better fit in there than Pennywise.
I apologize for my comment. It is all only entertainment and I allowed myself to get carried away for some reason. I love that song but you have a very good point. We def shouldn't make it a life goal to follow people to death.
I wouldn't put All or Nothing above From the Ashes. I like it more then The Fuse and Reason to Believe. But I do like Ignite so it helps to listen to Zoli sing songs that were made arounds Jim's voice.
As soon as "All or Nothing" is played, his voice and energy seems to be picking up. I have to agree with some of the comments, his voice on older Pennywise songs just don't seem right.
Hurry up and get better Zoli, so I can see the "new" PW live, and then I can judge for myself how PW are now, sans Jim. (For the record, All or nothing is easily PW's best album since about time.) Full Circle is still the best PW album ever though!!!
Zoli's voice is not weak, but the old tunes were built around Jims strengths, which are very different to Zoli's. Listen to Ignite and the new PW tunes to understand the dynamic that Zoli has to offer. Its not a better nor worse singing voice than Jim's, its just a very different one. Full Circle is my favourite album of all time, but I would certainly place All or Nothing above From The Ashes and Reason To Believe in my PW list. Just a personal opinion mind. I would rather PW alive than dead...
Zoli brought something fresh to a band thats been stale for some years. Yes Jim is pennywise but Zoli was great and All or Nothing is an amazing record. They should of played more of Unknown Road with Zoli, songs that Jim cant sing anymore. Itll be a fuckin shame if they ignore all or nothing and never play them songs live.
Why, because I am sick of hearing the same song at the end of EVERY Pennywise gig? And I think that there is a time for mourning the dead, and a need to get over it?
Okay, so I'm new to PW...but who the fuck is Jim? And why do some people say he's back, and why do some people say come back??? And who the fuck is Zoli... I'm so fucking confused
Oh, and I am fucking sick of Bro Hymn. Yes Jason was the original Bass guitarist, but fuck me he's been dead how long now? Fucking hell, get over it!!!!! Zoli probably never met him either.
