The intro to this is the best thing they ever wrote IMO. The drum sound on this whole album is amazing. The drums have always been the best part of PW. Everything is so compressed its nice to hear the drums in the intro sound organic like they are in a room and there is space between the toms and the kick and the bass right in the pocket.
I distinctly remember buying this album in 1997 and getting immediately addicted to Track #8 back in my hometown in French Normandy. Would copy this track on cassettes and send the cassettes to all the girlfriends all around the country (yes; we had emails and ICQ as the social networking thing). Pennywise, hear me out - I made you popular with French teenage girls. lol.
