I remember a few years back when the raiders invested in pure size and bullied all of these teams to victory. Now all the players on the other teams are grown and it's literally the same every week, the raiders can't seem to deal with high iq teams, they need a proper half.

Panthers were too strong and too fast. Pretty much just ran over the top of them in the second half. Great performances from Edwards Cleary and Kikau. Some dodgy calls but raiders did themselves no favors with their errors.

Hardly a glut of exciting football in either of today`s highlights packages. Haven`t seen the games, so don`t know how much there was between the scoring. NRL is being suffocated by obsessive and paranoid officiating. Refs just clear the way for big blokes to smash into each other. Anything loose or more intricate than one-out hit-ups risks a call for obstruction, knock-on, forward pass. At the behest of the media, the application of these rules has lost all contact with their purpose in the rulebook.
