You could hve showed how it was attachd to the skimmer. Using the parts supplied. Came here to find out how to use one that was left at the house I just bought. No pic or video of how it gets attached to the skimmer

Thanks for the review. Honestly this model makes it work but not for real. The real issue is the speed here. If it goes as fast as it looks on your video, it will make turbulence without sucking up the small dust and sand from the bottom, but you will not see the sand for a few hours then... it will make it look clean. The speed should be as slow as the Hayward models but maybe the bottom should be as this one....
Do you love it ?....lol. I just bought mine today. I haven't hooked it up yet but I'm anxious to get it started. Here in California you vacuum your pool is practically year round. Thank you for your helpful tips.

I was so excited to use mine for the first time yesterday (especially after watching your vid) then I felt throwing it in the garbage. Frustrating I must say. It's a brand new 12' round pool with no ladder (yet) so not like it's complicated. I tried everything I can find in terms of troubleshooting but mine just stays in one spot on the side of the pool. If I manually move it, it will start going then end up on the side of the pool again. Doesn't turn/spin clockwise like it's suppose to, doesn't do anything, it does the clicky sounds just like yours and when it does move when I manually push it, it goes. I'm going to my pool shop tonight, I'll see what I can do.
This vacuum has to have a skimmer to run. Without skimmer basket this will not work. What kind of filter do you have? This works through the filtration system.
Hello,I'm new to all this pool stuff including owning a pool I have a 24x52 Coleman above ground pool 10,450 gallons.I have been cleaning it as much as I can and check my water at a pool supply store.right now my water is green and added some super floc and I have stuff at the bottom of my pool that needs vacuuming but don't know how to connect to my pool.Ive looked at videos but nothing I have this lil shark but need a little help if you can.
+bebertq Yes, remove the skimmer basket so the hose can be directly connected through the skimmer.. I make sure the basket is removed first, then turn my pump on then connect the hose directly into the skimmer... Thanks for asking
Hi just got this . What setting do you have it on , also i noticed it sometimes turns over by itself and I have to grab it and turn back over . Any advice
Also about turning over do you have enough hose line ? Do you have your return eye facing upwards and to the side, mine was turning over from the return eye current but since I adjusted it that no longer happens. I hope this information helped

Thank you for the reply. I went ahead and ordered the GW8000 and received it today. It is in the pool now but it is moving so slow you can't tell it is moving unless it is moving over some dirt. I don't know what to do to get it to move a little faster. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Just picked one up but after connecting it and dropping it in the pool it did nothing, never even budged. I followed the directions and it does nothing
