Feels fine. Still have a pretty good tick. Seems to be coming from exhaust manifold area on passenger side using stethoscope. Gets noticeably louder when warmed up. Way louder than what you demonstrated. I thought Thought the second time maybe one of the lifters was defective and stuck. So I even switched out those that I thought might be bad and to no Avail still ticking. Changed oil still ticking. Really don't want to damage my engine, but I know this is not correct and don't have deep pockets to take to dealer. @@a2zautomasters862 i took care of the overheating problem. I replaced the spark plug on cylinder 2 and moved the coil pack to a different cylinder. Cleared the code and it went away. Drove around town with no problems and the following day out of curiosity i plugged my superchips back in because i noticed the engine shaking more than usual on a cold start and the code for c2 popped again. No check engine light though

You think they could make lifters that work .I have a 2.7 2004 searing same problem use the correct oil weight. and change it before or at 2000.miles so the lifters don't get clodged.i think they got an updated designed lifter should have had been recalled.very crapy design on the lifters.i took my valve covers off and the cams have wear scratches on them.i would have changed the chane and water pump and oil pump and oil pan gasket.then tell the owner to change the oil with proper oil weight and 2000 miles cause the lifters can't handle dirty oil they will fail with dirty oil.the junk yard is full of these engines 2.7l also.

@a2zautomasters862 2 года назад
You’re absolutely correct. 2.7L are one of the worst engines Chrysler made. I’ve seen a lot of them fail. The metal they’re using I think is the the problem or just a bad design maybe. Thank you for watching. Have a great day.

@a2zautomasters862
@a2zautomasters862 Год назад
Both of these codes are timing codes. For bank1 and bank two both on the B sensor. Meaning, the computer sees wrong timing comparing signals from the crankshaft Po sensor to both cameshafts Po sensors.

Wow dude... Vice grips on the cams hugh... Risky and a great way to get metal shavings in the engine... They make a tool for that specifically to lock the cams together
