Simply the best version of Amazing Grace ever done. Your reaction speaks volumes about the power of this performance. Every lead was wonderful and the harmonies just elevated the performance even more.
I believe they are free and saved by the pure emotions in the song! Only a truly saved believer could do it that good. Definitely touched by God to do their beautiful work. I love that they aren't afraid to do Christian music, Christmas music and contemporary music alike!🥰
Kevin plays the cello too. They are all so talented. I love this song!!! I can't listen to it just once. I have to keep replaying over and over. Oh my!
Superfuit is Scott and Mitch’s side hustle. They haven’t done anything in ages. All the members of Pentatonix had an agreement that they could all have something on the side providing that Pentatonix was the main priority. Kevin has done some solo stuff, Kirsten has done Broadway - Kinky Boots and some solo stuff.
Scott also has some solo work out. Check him out doing I Should Tell Ya Momma On You. Mitch has some out as well. Check him out doing Graveyard. Not sure about Matt, but Avi has 2 original ep albums out and some covers. Try Get Down, Aberdeen, I'll Get By and Change On The Rise, all his, and Lean On Me (Bill Withers cover)
Their original, "Run To You" is so hauntingly beautiful. 💖 Written by Avi & Kevin, it is more of a Chamber Choir type of song & is now performed in many high school and college vocal competitions. Amazing vocal control demonstrated.
The beautiful set for this video is The Wayfarer’s Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Just a half hour from Downtown Los Angeles and minutes from Long Beach this chapel on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean was designed by Lloyd Wright, the son of architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
from what I have heard, When the group first got together, Keven felt his singing voice wasn't as polished ahs the others. however, whenever they went on tour, he and Avi were roommates, so at Kevin's request, Avi began working with him in vocal training. Eventually Kevin's voice began to improve to the point his voice was as polished as the rest and began to get solos of his own.
Kevin sings harmonies on lots of PTX songs when there is a break from the percussion but only sings a lead role in a few. Imagine (John Lennon) is one you’ll definitely want to experience.
A group of 5 more gifted people I can not imagine. They are a gift, from God, from the universe? I'm ill equipped to say, but a gift certainly they are.
New Rules x Are you that somebody, Havana, and Can You Feel the Love Tonight, in addition to the other ones others have suggested. Superfruit is Scott and Mitch's side project. Their "Hip Hop Goes Broadway 1 and 2" is a lot of fun.
Fab reaction of an absolutely stunning version of this beautiful hymn. Mitch & Scott formed Superfruit as vocal duo plus comedy vids. They were really good. Have a look at Goodbye from Lonely and The Promise. Also check out their comedy.....it’s hilarious. As far as Pentatonix goes they’re still together making fantastic music. Hallelujah, oh Come All Ye Faithful, Mary did You Know & Imagine are fantastic covers. They’ve also recently released an album of original music which is as good if not better than their covers. Enjoy.....I will enjoy watching you react to them ☺️
Hi!! Superfruit is Scott & Mitch, and it’s just a fun side project that they did. It’s Superfruit where you see Mitch transform as well. For some Superfruit videos to check out, I recommend “Feeling Myself” “Hip Hop Goes Broadway” - parts 1 & 2 “Defying Gravity” (from the musical Wicked” “Frozen Medley” (featuring Kirsten) “Guy.exe” Kevin also has side projects. Check out Kevin Olusola cover of “Down” I think you will absolutely flip for it!
While they are all have religion. Kevin leads a simple prayer before each performance & they all say 'Amen'. BTW, Kevin is a new GIRL DAD. Matt has a Gospel background. It was logical they would 'bookend' the piece. Check Kevin's BIO. You will begin to see all the true talent PTX has collectively. Scott, Mitch & Kirsten have sung together as a group since High School in Arlington Texas. They collectively moved to LA after winning "Sing Off" when they were NIENTEEN! Be sure to see Sing Off videos to begin to appreciate their development as individuals AND as a Group. There's a LOT to Pentaholics, I'm one & I'm learning + enjoying @ 69 years old.
Superfruit is Mitch and Scott's side project they didn't split up with Pentatonix. As they once said it's another creative outlet besides Pentatonix. They also put an original album out as Superfurit in 2017. They started this side project in 2013 but in the moment they focus more on Pentatonix. I'd recommend you to watch the beginner guide to Pentatonix there you get all the information you need to know here's the link to the video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lDxIfwfCmQE.html you'll understand everything a little better and get background knowledge about the band. and I'd like to recommend you Sound of silence, Imagine, Run to you and there new original song Coffee in Bed.
Scott and MITCH never broke from the group, they are the original co founders. They've been friends since middle school and decided to do a vlog, while they were doing Pentatonix. It grew so popular they wrote an album. I think its dissolved since then
I love everything Pentatonix does and this is no exception. However there is one version of this that I like even better. It is also A Capella by an all female group BYU Noteworthy, it is truly amazing. Scott and Mitch are homosexuals and grew up in an environment where they were looked at unfavorably. Superfruit is a safe zone were they can be themselves with like minded individuals or anyone else as long as they don't hate on anyone.
