This one is perfect for the radio, it's really catchy! The arrangement is unique with Scott way down there with Matt, and Mitch harmonizing in the ethereal part of his range with Kirstie (who was perfect for the lead). I liked how it sounded with the two of them singing the majority of the lyrics in this particular song. So glad you liked it so much! Maybe a year a year ago 1 of their patrons that Is the patron to 1 of the reactors that I am a patriot too had a petition to get PTX on to the radio. It was mentioned on the reactor I support because she is there. I don't know what happened to it. She has a RU-vid channel called PTX weekly news (PWN). The 1st episode is a zoom meeting with Mitch singing and it's from the week of May 26, 2021. She is up to Episode 51 that was 2weeks ago. there's a lot of Other stuff On there such as tik tok Videos and I can't keep up with all of it...
Your right…Kristen wrote this…this video was during COVID-19 . All their parts were done at each of their homes and then put together..So cleaver and beautiful. We are all proud of Kristy….Great Job Mr.D……Judy D
I love your reactions. This is an original from their latest album, released February 21. There are several beautiful originals on the album. Please check out their Coffee in Bed, A Little Space featuring Ateez, And the visual of Anchor, which was written by Mitch around 2015 and held on to it for all this time. They are currently writing new music, and have a release called "Sweet" as well as my all time favorite La La Latch. Their production on that video is brilliant!!
They have alot of songs with no video that are amazing yet. Songs with videos you should do next are 'Happy Now' and 'Waving thru a Window'. You also need to check Scott's colabs out called 'Ghost' and 'Lose Us'!

And if Kirstin is listed as composer, it's sure the lyrics and the basic idea for the melody is from her. She always aproches other memebers (normaly oine or two) and some outside help to get the song excellent. This was another video they did during lockdown…so good! The editing is amazing to make them seem together. Oh and Kirstie is even more gorgeous as a Mom, she looks so happy.

I have to agree. The beginning instrumentals are wonderful and it's so hard to believe they came from a human, not some instrument. I've never heard anything like those sounds.
This song should be on the radio! All of them are credited with writing this one. I absolutely love it. Please do more of their originals. “Sing” (if you have already -Scott and Kevin helped write it)… it’s a get up and more, feel good song.
They made this during Covid so they were all in their own homes. It's amazing what they accomplish even during difficult times. By the way, Kristy had a baby girl! Love your reactions and I look forward to the next one!
Hello D. Yes....please do get all the PTX songs in your playlist - old and new; covers and originals; studio versions and live performances. Sometimes you do have to stop and remember that this is A Capella. Kevin and Matt are fantastic on that rhythm and bass. Mitch with that ethereal ear candy in the back is beyond beautiful. Kirstie is gorgeous in this video. LOL it is funny that no matter which direction in time you go they are amazing. Their voices are just so mature now it feels like they can do anything with them.
D, she's an expectant mother and they all glow when they are in this condition. As far as the "instrumentation" vocals that are focused and shaped can sound like just about any instrument if it is brief and woven into the vocals. This is just a prime example of that marriage.
It was recorded in 2021, when things were starting to open up. They each filmed separately, to minimize the number of people in the room. They literally did the At Home EP at their five separate houses. The Lucky Ones was mostly done by filming them one at a time.

All of their originals are amazing, and there's not a single bad track on their 'Lucky Ones' album (or any of their albums, to be fair). 'Petals', 'Anchor', and 'Never gonna cry again' are my top 3 from their 'Lucky Ones' album, with 'Anchor' being my favourite song that they've ever done. There's no videos for any of these, but please react to them anyway, you don't know what you're missing! ❤
I only found your reactions a few months ago, so I know that you know by now that this song was written by Kirstie. I could be wrong but I believe that when they record their originals they are a little free-er with adding instrumentals. Love your reactions btw.

Another great reaction. This is an original of Kirstie's. It was on their latest album released that wasn't the Christmas album called the lucky ones. The entire album is originals. Perhaps you could get a list of all the songs on the lucky ones and go through them. I am not sure how many Videos they did For the songs. The 2 that I remember off the top of my head are coffee in bed and happy now. Most of the songs on the album are about relationships. Kristie does get better looking as time goes by. But remember when they were on the sing off they had just graduated high school so they Are the still young now. That was just over10 years ago. And their voices have matured Also. They each know their instrument Very very well. You often say is there anything PTX can't do. Well you can add acting to that list. Scott Mitch and Kirstie were on an episode of the TV show bones. I needed something to get me hyped up to go do errands bc I don't feel well. This was on their originals album. This was during Covid when we could go out of the house but not be around each other. Similar time frame to coffee in bed. That's why they weren't together and that shot towards the end of "them together" looked a little weird. Loved your reaction as usual.

J'adore ta réaction comme toujours et je suis d'accord, à chaque fois qu'on en découvre une, qu'elle soit ancienne ou récente, on se dit qu'ils n'arrêtent pas de s'améliorer, ce qui n'a absolument aucun sens mais on se comprend 😂. Ça m'est arrivée récemment avec "Love you long time" qu'ils ont sortis à leurs tout débuts. Je ne me souviens pas si tu as déjà réagi à cette chanson mais je te la conseille vivement. Je l'ai d'abord écoutée (pas de clip vidéo) et ensuite j'ai trouvée, sur RU-vid Évidemment, un live fait dans une école et filmé par des étudiants...ça vaut le détour. This track along with a couple others on their lucky ones album had some experimental components, meaning you might hear a little keys and synth in a couple of tracks. I really feel like they created this album with the hopes of getting radio play. However the industry is still so unwilling and honestly distasteful in my opinion. PTX deserves to be considered for radio play just like every other artist. A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is great and all, but they're still not getting all the credit they deserve.
