Not very many things Mitchslap harder than the electric guitar solo. The Star Vista AhHa moment comes close though (You'll know when you see it what I mean)
Dear Travis. You have proven yourself ready to watch one of the most amazing live performances of PTX. It is called: “Aha - Live Singapore The Star Vista” Otherwise known as the where is Kevin video, because Kevin is putting away his cello in the beginning and the person recording never pans to him during the whole video, but you can definitely hear him. Also, there’s no need to pause as it is a fan made video, not an official PTX video. Love your reactions!! Keep it up!
I can't believe no one else has mentioned that the incredible Sir Dr. Brian May put this on his Twitter when it came out with one word, "Enjoy, " can it get any better than an original member of Queen commenting on a cover of one of their most famous songs?!?!?! I couldn't WAIT to watch you react to this and it was EVERYTHING!!!! So fucking awesome!!!! And I know I told you it would be great, but I don't think anyone can accurately describe just how incredible it is!!
I cannot tell you how much I love your reactions. Your smile is everything and your love for this amazing group means everything. Keep doing PTX, Superfruit and their individual projects and you have a fan for life.
I just love your reactions. I live to see you running around so get those cameras up LOL . I definitely think it's time for Aha! Singapore, The Star Vista and it has to be that particular performance. I can't wait to watch you react to that one. 😎
This one is so amazing! One of my favorites. You should also check out their original Love Again. That one is definitely one of my favorite originals. It's also really cool to watch their performances on the Sing-Off (season 3) and see just how far they've come. Scott Kirstie and Mitch had just met Avi and Kevin shortly before they appeared on the show. They had some really good ones there. Two of my favorites were Dog Days are Over and Born to be Wild but they had a lot of good pieces in that show
Someone else will say it. Millions will say it. Mitch does the guitar sound with his mouth. The megaphone is just a prop. (In case you were wondering.) Anyway, love you. Love your reactions. Love seeing Avi let loose in the operatic section.
@@ShyAnn291 being that I’ve seen them perform this live a couple times I do agree that the megaphone is a prop but you do realize that when they filmed the video they were singing along to their recorded track so that would explain there still being sound if Mitch puts the megaphone down a second before the sound stops.
@@PtxXtp yes I do know they sing to a recorded track for music videos, so you’re completely right about that, I wasn’t even thinking about that lol. And you’re lucky to have seen them live, I bet that was awesome!!
@@ShyAnn291 sorry I hope I didn't come across rudely when I was explaining how their video filming works. Yes they are incredible live. I hope you get the chance to see them sometime.
@LVW, @Marcy Roeder (I don’t even know if this “works.”) I started out watching “Guilty Dogs & Cats” videos - yet I’m here?! i’ve only been at it for 4 hours vs your 6, Marcy, but I need to find my bluelight-blocking “computer” glasses; my eyes are burning! And LVW, your comment answered my question-to-self, “Why the hell do my cheeks hurt so much?!” Travis has to be the most upbeat reactor on RU-vid!!
I'm almost afraid to recommend "Aha! Singapore Star Vista". It's considered one of their best live performances and a highlight performance for both Mitch and Avi, but I don't know if you can take it. It might blow your mind so hard it actually kills you.
Love your reactions. you have not even got halfway through their list of songs. Some songs you need to listen to are. Amazing Grace, Love again. will have you dropping your jaw to the ground. some others that should be high on the list are. Shallow, Mad World, Can You Feel the Love Tonight?. Rather be, Havana, Perfect, Run to you, Can't Hold Us, and Save the World/Don't You Worry Child. That should be a good start. You haven't even got to their Christmas music.
Please react to Pentatonix-Amazing Grace! The song, the locale, the voices, the personalities of each member and their "part" of the song. Absolutely stunning! Plus, it gives a more current feel of them personally and as a group. They were amazing 10 years ago and they have just gotten better. Thank you for your reactions, you are a beautiful soul 💙
For years they said they would not do this or they didn't think they were ready enough to do it. It was published April 7th 2017. Avi announced he would be leaving the following month and left September 3rd at the end of their tour. Which reminds me you still have to do their 3rd grammy winner, this one for country duo performance, with Dolly Parton of "Jolene". I usually only watch reactions if they're HF reactions. But I find myself checking out your reactions to everything! 😆 You're so awesome. I guess I'm a Travis fan! Mama Bear hugs hunny 🤗
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your reactions and this one was one of the best so far because you can tell how much you're enjoying it. You had me smiling ear to ear thru it. 😊 You are such a breath of fresh air young man, keep it up!😉 Also, I agree with others, you are SO ready to react to “Aha - Live Singapore The Star Vista.”
Travis, love your beautiful smile and smiling eyes! So pleased that you share your joy in watching the amazing Pentatonix! As you will now realise, every PTX performance is worth watching - I don't believe there is a bad one. To see what they were like when they were just school kids performing in the sing-off in 2011 which got them started, I suggest watching Dog Days are Over, then get the tissues ready for a beautiful one you have missed - Amazing Grace. One of my favourite Mitch moments is watching Mitch and Avi in the live performance of AHA Singapore recorded on someone's phone. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aT2Nm4fYmI4.html
I give this reaction two 👍👍 up!😃 I know you really liked Scott and Mitch’s rendition of “Defying Gravity” from Wicked so I thought you should check out another song from a Broadway play. Pentatonix does “Waving Through a Window” from Dear Evan Hansen. It’s outstanding!
Pure joy! Am loving watching you on this journey. When they first released this Brian May posted it on his social media with one word, “Enjoy!” Can’t get higher praise than that. Keep ‘em coming, sooooo much more to see!
Oh we have all been waiting for you to do this one! I couldn't stop smiling during the entire thing just watching you take it all in. I think your brain froze for a minute when Mitch started with the "guitar"
Love your reactions. As a vintage PTX pentaholic, 71 years of age, I love everything they do and love seeing people react to them. Your face is a joy. I haven’t checked your playlist but if you haven’t watched Amazing Grace and the sound of silence yet I would love to watch you react to them and everything else PTX do👍💕💕
"My Immortal", "Bring Me to Life", and "Call Me When You're Sober" are my top 3 Evanescence songs, but the others are just as good. Amy Lee's voice is incredible!
They spent five years working on and perfecting this arrangement before they finally recorded it out of pure respect for the original Queen version. The megaphone was just a prop used in the video. When they perform the sone live, Mitch doesn't use the megaphone. There's a behind the scenes video of this that's also a fun watch. That moving couch was an adventure. They had to put a board across the back of it to allow Kirstie to climb over it and she STILL almost fell off a couple of times, and it even ran over Kevin at one point!
You should watch just for your own entertainment the behind the scenes video for this. The moving couch, the fact that they shot all night, Kevin falling off the couch, Kirstin leaping on to it like a Super Hero in those heels. It is very funny and interesting.
Whenever I watch Pentatonix I get the impression that they are together because they love each other and because they are having crazy fun. At the same time, they sound phenomenal
I'm sure someone had already said, but Brian May of Queen posted this video to his followers simply stating, "Enjoy!". Love you & your reactions Travis😉
Pentatonix never fail to deliver do they 💗 just like you ! Another great reaction, love every single one! I hope you hit 10k soon , you so deserve it !! 😊🤞👏🇬🇧💗 Love Avi s bass face at the start 😊😂 Please react to Kevin s solo 'Down' and Avi s version of 'lean on me ' its amazing 👏
They took their time before they did this one. Apparently they didn’t want to do it until they were sure they’d do a superlative rendition; a fitting tribute to this masterpiece: mission accomplished.
Knew you'd love this one! One of my favourites and I'm a die hard Queen fan.👸🥰 This song has been done to death and never ever been topped until now. PTX ROCK!!!
Love your reactions! If you haven’t already, please react to Aha (Live at the star vista Singapore) it’s also known as the ‘where’s Kevin song’ but he really is there. I think you’re ready for Mitch to truly blow you away!
Yay for Bohemian Rhapsody. As a Pentaholic Homefry, I love anything by these groups. It's all amazing, you can't go wrong. But you asked for some other groups, so I would like to suggest two other artists of different genres that have a surprising number of cross over fans. "Falling in Reverse" (metal, scene, rock, rap, all mixed into something incredible}, and Tom McDonald (hot topic rap)
That's what I like best about PTX--you watch one of their videos and it's hard to single out one member because they each contribute soooo much. Every song, you find yourself thinking, "Wow, that middle part with Kevin..but that opening verse from Scott...oh, and Kirstie when she belted her part...and Mitch came in with his angelic voice...and I could feel it in my bones when Avi/Matt's bass notes hit..." Every member shines in every song. Even when you think one member has the lead for most of the song (like Kirstie's amazing "Say Something" if you go back and rewatch and focus on a different member each time you watch, you'll see that they are each doing something incredible in the background. They're just perfect together.
So true! People sometimes say something about how I didn’t call out a specific part that they think is amazing but.. I might have missed it because it’s the first time I saw it ! Or there is so much goodness going on that I am overwhelmed with it all ! 😂
@@TeaTimeWithTravis You always have great reactions. There is too much to take in just watching a PTX video once. That's why so many of us rewatch them again and again. Plus, people have their favorite members and want to make sure you saw what their favorite did, but honestly, they're all incredible. You're giving us your honest first reaction and doing it very well.
Mind blowing talent of 5 voices creates complete wall of sound...I always forget on this that there is only voices!! Everytime! One of the best reactions to this I've seen enjoyed it!
Hello friend. The pure joy you exhibit in your reactions is the whole reason performers perform. As a performer, all I ever want is for the audience to be happy and touched by the music. I love your reaction to this and all the other music you present. I’m so glad you found PTX and I look forward to more Home Free reactions as well!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😁. Tho still waiting to you react: "Papaoutai" (Stromae upgrade)👀. The good french of everyone(Scott), the persistent basse of Avi, all the song. -Incredible strings fron KO and Lindsay. -Beautiful harmonies of Mitch and Kirstie... And of course the brilliant work of the MV😁.
OMG, Travis, I absolutely adore your reactions. I love your energy and your appreciation of this group.. Keep smiling and laughing and bringing us more enjoyment with your PTX reactions. 💕 Please react to RUN TO YOU, NEVER GONNA CRY AGAIN, LOVE ME WHEN I DONT, and LOVE AGAIN.
Brilliant wasn't it. Enjoyed it even more with your 'reaction' May I say your sound system is great. Avi & Kevin are spectacular at what they do. Love seeing & hearing Avi do his 'air bass guitar' lol Kevin is just a magician. Mitch did a perfect job...that last bass drop from Avi ar the end just felt it deep within my chest. Travis there is a fun behind the scenes video of this that I'll post here...worth a look at.. blooper and poor Kevin fallin off the couch... oops lol ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Q8ugJnIG_Lk.html
This is the classic performance of theirs that turned me into a Pentaholic! Even members of Queen praised them for the homage to the original that they did. Will always be at or near the top of my list of PTX performances, though with maturity, their amazing skills at harmonizing in amazing ways has gotten so much stronger.
The shot of the starry sky during Mitch's final "guitar" solo was a nod to Queen guitarist Brian May, who went on to earn a PhD in astrophysics. And yeah, Kevin and Avi are incredible as the percussion set here. You should also react to Kevin Olasula's cover of "Down." It's an unforgettable performance. I believe it may have been his viewing of this video that led Scott to recruit Kevin for PTX in the first place. Love your reactions! Keep 'em coming!
Scott saw Kevin on a RU-vid video in 2011 cello boxing right before getting them (KO and Avi) for The Sing Off (Season 3) Kevin performed "Down" for his album KOver in 2017.
Your response is amazing...it's the kind of response I expected from you. You have a dynamite personality...perfect for these kinds of reaction vids. Thanks!
Your negative head shake at the start of the song cracks me up. The smile and your eyes say that u frigging LOVE what they r doing ... but your side to side negative head shake is screaming: AAAAARRRGGGHHHHH - THIS ISN'T HUMANLY POSSIBLE!!! It's okay dude, we have all been there.
Travis....we will never steer you wrong...being raised on Queen this is the best..Now another big one...Queen live at live aid. It’s a 20 minute set..Judy D
