Yeah, this was during the credits after they were unmasked. They don't usually show the whole song on-air but obviously had to with PTX. They made it to the semi-finals and came in 3rd. They also released the single that same night within minutes of the reveal... it spoiled me to the results that night since I didn't watch it live 😅
He's actually right. They dress up like different things that are meaningful to them. And sing. Then the judges guess who they r . Audiences vote for there favorite of the night. One gets voted out until the last one standing who wins. Then they r unmasked. This is after ptx was voted out and was unmasked. They left in 3rd place. This has nothing to do with zorro.And it's not the voice because they aren't trying to win record deals. Sometimes the singer isn't even a singer but can sing. They give clues. And sometimes it's a non singer who still can't sing. But it's all fun and all entertainment and really fun to watch and guess. I knew 2 seconds after they started singing it was ptx. They dressed up like a California Roll btw.
The unmasking (when this live version took place) was broadcast 5/10/23, although it was filmed some time (probably months) prior to that. Pentatonix was actually on tour in Europe when the show aired.
This was so good!! I enjoyed seeing them perform it versus just the Audio. Also - Have y’all seen Scott’s solo release of Mars?!?! Soooo it’s raspy Scott on crack!! He released multiple versions… all are awesome. The office music video is great, but my favorite is the choir version!! Scott at his all time BEST! Please react! ❤
This just happened, lol. They released the single the day after they were unmasked and sang this outtro. They made it to the Semi-finals dressed as "California Roll" and this was when they were unmasked because they didn't win that episode. Most people think they should have won the whole thing, but I think they won't let a group win since the name of the show is "Masked Singer" singular. They had a great time and their versions of "Uptown Girl" and "Paparazzi" were amazing. They also did a stellar version of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" which is, unfortunately a song I absolutely detest for no reason I can articulate. Pentatonix made me neutral on it, and that is a friggin miracle, so they were unbelievably good.
This was last month. The judges were wondering why PTX had just been voted off- you could tell by their shocked faces. If you haven’t heard PTX’s Daft Punk medley, you should (Grammy winner).
The judges knew exactly why they were voted off. The show had the winner planned from the beginning. That’s why they saved Medusa when Ptx beat her the first time.

The premise: People (celebrities of some ilk) who can sing, or think they can sing, wear costumes to completely disguise their identities and then come out to sing for the judges and the audience. As their introduction, cryptic clue packages are shown which include hints as to who they may be. The singers are unveiled only when they are voted off, and then they sing a final song. This video is from the night PTX was voted off and unveiled, just a couple of weeks ago. Their cover of Creep, which they originally sang as part of their Masked Singer run this season, was released to coincide with the unmasking. Not sure how the judging or voting works, I haven’t watched since the first season. Hope this helps. Peace …
LOL never care about the haters, they are energy vampires and just suck🧛🏻♂. Masked singer, he's pretty close. Costumed singers compete, judges try to guess.. At this time they had been eliminated and took 3rd. 2nd was Michael Archuleta, 1st was some Yelling woman. No this was this year's Masked Singer just a few weeks ago.
I hope you keep doing PTX videos - I would like to suggest two Superfruit videos - Guy.exe - so funny - and Rise, which was done as a tribute to the victims of the pulse Nightclub Massacre in Orlando - some years back - Some covers that are great - Havana, Mad World, Say Something, White Winter Hymnal, My "Heart With you - and originals - Love Me When I Don't, Run to You, Light in the Hallway (Avi sings) - a Little Space, Happy Now, Be My Eyes. You will LOVE these . Also, Scott has two singles out, love songs to his husband, called Mars, and Parallel. They are beautiful videos and songs.
