Love this one too! Sultry Kirstie is fun and Mitch's little fun bit with the "I loved him when I left him" sung with a touch of a smirk...and Kevin's trumpet is awesome!! I don't know how that man manages to make all the sounds he does.
This one is a fun one! They did this live during their 2019 tour, and had some fun with the chorio: a Scott/Kirstie moment (her sitting on his lap) and another moment playing to fans obsessions with Scott/Mitch shipping with the "I loved him when I left him" line. There are a number of fancam videos from those shows that would be fun to watch on your own time.
"Havana" is one of my favorite Pentatonix videos. I enjoyed your reaction. Thank you. Another favorite is the mashup "New Rules x Are You That Somebody?". I love how beautifully they wove the two songs together and made a masterpiece.
Once again, they sound and look stunning!! To rest your cheek muscles, I recommend their cover of Mad World. They still sound and look stunning, but it’s a completely different vibe. 💜
I call this Kirstie's "sultry Latina look", and she really rocks it! And Kevin at the end with his muted trumpet - is there any instrument that man can't either play or imitate?
My favorite part of this one is Kevin's invisible flugelhorn. (Yes, I'm pretty sure it's a flugelhorn rather than a trumpet, but I'm not sure why so I could be wrong.)
Hello Saeed, This one is such fun and PTX talent never ceases to amaze. Mitch's vocalizations are just superb every single time. Kevin on that trumpet is always a surprise for reactors. You can see them do an interview and some live songs including Havana on NY Times Talk five years ago: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QODx961CLe8.html Recommending more for your reaction list - Amazing Grace, Attention, Blinding Lights, Dreams, Come Along, Popspring 2016, No (official music video and live version with Mitch in a white shirt and black bow tie, please), Aha from Singapore Vista. Some of these already recommended for you but hoping the algorithm will push these forward! Thanks for the reactions!
Just for fun, and because you now have an appreciation for A Cappella Academy, here's one of the sub-groups from the 2020 class, Fuego, performing "Havana". Since it was happening in the thick of the Covid lockdown, ACA was done remotely, and students had to record themselves at home to send in for the film and sound editors to piece performances together. Turned out pretty darn well. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Hhap7aE0J-0.html
